Have been going here for years.usually very good.now overpriced. $68 for 2 chicken.chips coleslaw gravy seafood salad.chips soggy.parts of chicken not cooked enough and a surcharge for eftpos.better off buying better bbq chickens from supermarkets.ridiculous ripoff
They used to be very good but not anymore, the chips were bitter kind of old potato been used to make the chips, really taste horrible

Very unpleasant experience. Food is very average. Owners and general customer service is not good at all. Won't be going back.
This place used to be good years ago, but not anymore. Their roast chicken's are horrible now! Tried them for a second time, thinking it was a one off, and have been left really disappointed. Dry, overcooked and bland chicken, no charcoal flavour. $20 for that.never again, sorry!
I reckon they have down sized their chicks.
They have much smaller portions in packs.
I queried this with the staff, they denied smaller chick not going there again! After many years going there it’s no more!
Regrettably this was terrible today. Are there new owners? I purchase 1/2 a chicken and couldn’t eat the chicken because it smelled off. They $11 worth of chicken in the bin because it really wasn’t worth risking eating it.
Shame it used to be a good place to get a chook.
Closing time 8pm go in at 730 ask for a couple of yiro’s, and they tell that they are closed with the grill. Pure laziness! I DO NOT RECOMMEND, extremely bad rude service
I ordered a delivery of a meal deal of 1/2 chicken and 2 salads. It was appalling! The chicken and salads where plonked in a container together. Never seen anything like it. Chicken was cold and dry with the salads all covering it. Disgusting-would never order again!

For years, I have been a loyal customer, and most of the staff now know me by name. On occasion, I have been rewarded with a complimentary potato fritter or an upsize at no extra charge. Without a doubt, this is the best chicken shop in the vicinity!
Best chicken in the area. Great fried goods. Fast and friendly service. Salads are pretty ho hum and could do with a rethink.
Food looks good but the quantity of food for the price is ridiculous. The chips in the meal deal wouldn't even be enough to feed one person. Had to drive to another food store to get more chips to feed 2 people.
Drove 15 minutes there to be left disappointed.
The chicken this place offers tastes almost exactly like the roasterie chicken in Woolworths. It was sub-standard at best, from what you'd expect from a "Charcoal Chicken Shop. " Very underwhelming, mushy, under-seasoned, and lacking that charcoal-cooked flavor.
These guys will only half fill your medium bag of chips even when you have spent over $40. Terrible! Don't go here. Edit.now I have begun to eat them they are soggy, rubbery and only luke warm. I feel like I got some chips that got left out the back and forgotten about after being half eaten. So really can't get any worse.
Was looking forward to getting some charcoal chicken chips for weeks. Came here to get them and they were horrible. Soggy, undercooked and no chicken salt at all. Guess they were too busy putting up Halloween decorations rather than cooking properly.
First time I've been here, will never return.

Food was terrible! Customer service was horrendous! We asked for no tomatoes in yiros, lady replied with ‘So no tomato sauce’ Ummmm what…. Will never return! Btw our yiros was filled with tomatoes

Don't know if they've changed suppliers since all these reviews about their "great chips" but they were horrid. Overpriced, soggy after a literally 3 minute drive in an open bag and not proper chips at all. Store bought pinky width garbage. Even the potato fritter was chewy and obviously store bought
