Love this place, best hot chips. Been going here for years. Best local hot chicken chips shop

Terrible service. Was not even greeted by the worker upon walking in, she just stood there blank faced not wanting to help us at all. Got frustrated when we asked for our gravy on the side. Complained about having to be there and absolutely no manners. Forgot our chicken and then huffed and puffed as if that was our fault. Could not believe the service will not be returning

Beautiful chicken, with a great selection of salads. I was really surprised with the prices as well.very affordable for the quality and freshness of the food.

The staff are amazing and i always feel welcomed walking through the doors. Good selection of food and it tastes absolutely delicious. Car park can get a little crazy but still worth it all.

Used to be my favourite go to local chicken and chips. Chicken was tender, juicy and flavourful. The price was $10 for a full chicken. Now the price is $13 but the size has not changed.

I think this price should be about $11.50. The chicken wasn't as delicious as i recall either. The large chips are also $8 which is understandable but still quite expensive. They should invest in hand made chips and buy the correct equipment to cater to this, and buy potato by the bulk. Majority or the profits could've been made by chips alone but $8 is a stretch unfortunately with the increase in their full chicken cost too.

Couldn't recommend this place anymore.

It’s a little hidden gem in the Greenacres shopping centre, will definitely visit again. Great friendly service with a smile

Chicken not much taste as with stuffing.
Also ordered greek salad.tell me where was the feta cheese? 1 piece
Olives not pitted paying $5 for small salads
Ordered egg salad.eggs overdone
Not a good experience

Great food and very well priced.if you are nearby and hungry.do yourself a favour and stop in for some food.

Service was very good, however $14 for a fillet of Whiting is outrageous, whereas at the nearby Fish & Chips is $8. The batter on the Butter fish was overdone almost burnt.
Will not buy again.
Marden Fish & Chips, service is amazing, fish is fresh, price's are great & serves are generous. Go to Marden, won't go anywhere else once you taste their food.

My sister and I came in today, the staff (possibly owners) were so friendly and accomodating! Never had such good customer service from a takeaway store! We ordered the Family Pack the chicken was amazing as was the chips, the salad is fresh and honestly will now be our go to place would recommend to anyone!

My sister and I came here for the first time today after living in the area for 6 months. We have been looking for a good takeaway shop for the family and we are so glad we stumbled across this absolute gem of a place. The staff welcomed us instantly and our food was made promptly. The chicken was full of flavour and juicy, the chips were made to perfection and in clean oil where you can instantly taste and see the difference (which is hard to find these days) aswell as the salads being fresh. They also allowed us to change the drink in the meal to suit our preference. Thankyou so much for the experience, we will definitely be back!

Charcoal Chicken Greenacres is the only place I will buy chicken. We will drive 15-20 minutes to buy their chicken. Their chips are Amazing and the salad selection is huge and they are all Fresh daily & Absolutely Delicious. The owners and staff are Awesome, they are very friendly and customer service is their highest priority. The shop is Always very clean and tidy. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. We have been going there for more than 20 years! Here’s to the next 20 years Charcoal Chicken Greenacres!

Asked for a bag to carry my hot chips and he looked me dead in the eye and said no after giving a bag to customers before me.

First and last time going. Worst chips I've even not eaten. That bad I didn't eat and neither did my daughter.

Just an honest little chicken place, definitely one to check out for a quick and nutritious lunch. It's a little further away than others but the extra flavour delivered by the charcoal cooking process is worth the extra driving.

I enjoy pairing the chicken with some of their healthier salads (bean salad in particular) and a generous serving of chips.

Brilliant food. Amazing service, always so friendly. Steak sandwiches and burgers are delicious, charcoal chicken is amazing, fish and chips are amazing too, and the banana fritters are the best I've had, we ALWAYS order them. I drive past at least 2 or 3 take away chicken shops to get to greenacres charcoal chicken

I ordered a couple of extras in good faith, expecting it would still be a reasonable price but the owner/manager charged me more than double (>$30 for one meal). To add insult to injury he then gave me a nickname that he proceeded to use loudly and repeatedly. It's a shame because everyone else there seemed really nice

The flavour of their chickens are absolutely the very best in town.

I got a chicken that was a little bit on the overcooked side. I called the shop and they promptly replaced it with a fresh chicken. The customer service gets 5 stars. The owners are really friendly and highly professional. I can't recommend this place enough. A must visit stop if you like charcoal chicken. Also try their chips and gravy (they are to die for).

The only suggestion I have is to please buy bigger chickens to classify as large. Wouldn't mind paying a little extra
