Chahat Restaurant reviews
67 Been here twice and still i got poor customer service as they don’t care about you and never provided water to drink and the tissues at your table. Food quality is not so good.
P. S. - I don’t know how much they save on tissues. Funny people
The only thing I dislike about this place is that they make unwanted conditions on the menu. Seriously, who are you to decide if i share a Thali with someone or not and thali is like $16 which is not even cheap. Can get better service from other indian restaurants in Adelaide.
Limited option for lunch. Because you get what you pay. No idlis or dosas served. If you are looking for a quick tummy fill this is the place.
Mannerless staff, poor customer service, food is not ready on time ever. No solutions if there is any problem with anything.
Even one of their staff (Maninder) can punch you if there is any sort of issue or complaint and will misbehave by abusing.
Will never go there again and won’t recommend to anyone.
Hahaha just see their reply.
That’s good if you called the cops and gave all recordings.
Really appreciate that.
A lady at reception is very arrogant.the way of giving answer is completely rudely, Naan was only good. They serve food completely different then mention on menu.when we ask why this is different.they replied that you need to ask before order what comes inside.why dont you guys mention what is inside the item as all other restaurant do that.
Reasonably priced food, Aaloo Tikki and Chaat Paapdi was yummy.service was prompt and the staff was very patient with kids (My little one slipped mango lassi on the table: - (.). Will visit again.
Amazing food very good service polite n friendly people. The best one till now that we have tried in adelAdel. Good luck God bless
Very tasty authentic Indian cuisine, mango lassi delicious, roti, garlic nan yummy, reasonably priced and fabulous service. Highly recommend.
Buffet lunch great value. Food very good. Person who runs the kitchen/restaurant very pleasant and came to enquire about the food etc.will definitely pass on the good word.thanks
No service at all.staff hardly listens to your requests.buffest taste was ok but cold like something.overall worst experience
Wonderful place with one of the best authentic Indian food. Value for money and good for both buffet and alacarte menu at a decent price.highly recommended
Great food
Lots of variety
Excellent service
Best Indian place in the heart of Adelaide
If you are craving for an Indian food (southern/western side of Adelaidans) then this place is open till very late. No need to drive all the way to Indian Temptation at Gepps Cross!
But let me warn you; you can't expect great service or real authentic taste which stays stable over the time. Everytime I had to dine or takeaway any food here; same curry will taste from best to worst. There is no consistency. Again; don't really have much option when you need food at 11PM/Midnight.
Extremely bad food and poor service. Charged us more than we ate. Would not recommend this lousy Indian food place.
Vry bad experience as a worker and customer over their.to be honest they don’t deserve any star just because of their bad service
Finally a nice Indian place. Insides have been done up again and I see the continuous improvement been put to good practice here. The owners are friendly and give you sense of being at home.
Chicken Korma waaay too strongly spiced. Looked dark & was like a concentrated version. Papadums were good.
Worst experience ever had in Adelaide. Service was poor. Mango lassi is just like a Mango Butter Milk and taste was not good. Even in Buffet nan was not hot and sabji was really tasteless. Not value for money
Outstanding experience. The food is just out of the world. Was at Happy Singh's when I dropped in. Nothing like a great chai from C hahat while you're waiting.
Good food but service could be better we have ordered Sirka Onion for salad but serving person provided us plain onion salad. Onion was so bitter that our whole food taste go away and we cant even eat the whole food.
So at the end spoiled our taste and spend extra money due to serving person mistake.
