9Love going here, friendly faces, quick service, food is great and prices are quite reasonable.
On the plus side, the staff were brilliant. Friendly, helpful and professional. Hence the 2. BUT I wish there was a 0 or - rating. My husband, a real meat lover, ordered the rump steak and while he ate it, said it was the worst steak he has ever been served. So tough he need 2 knives to be able to get bite size pieces. I had the honeyed prawns. What a disaster. The prawns were cooked ok but a "bucketful " of straight honey poured over them made for a sickly sweet and a soggy batter on the prawns. The salads on both plates were well below par The ubiquitous pasta salad which seems to be a South Australian pub staple was left untouched and the green salad looked old and wilted so was also left on the plates. The chips were ok though!
The staff were friendly and helpful with a good choice of items on their menu reasonably priced. Will most certainly recommend it and will return myself.
If you're after good take away/fast food, this place does it so well. Ask for extra crunchy chips! The salads are always fresh and plentiful in serving size.
Friendly staff, oodles of drinks to choose from, stacks of pokies, TAB racing and top notch meals, what more could you want. Will be back.
Great bottle shop helpful man the rest of the pub and especially the young girl that served us was totally disappointing for an EDP hotel left after 1st drink went to pub around the corner great service and a lot cheaper
We ordered x2 chicken schnitzels with chips and gravy and all we was one chicken schnitzel with a large chips and gravy after we repeatedly said we want x2 instead we got one the young lady didn't listen after we told her four times 5-6 pm Sunday night once again the young lady didn't listen to our after we told her 4 to 5 times not very happy
Good atmosphere. Service was quick and everyone at our table was pleased with their meals.
Not a sip'n'save it's called urban cellars, hours are not as listed on their site and they won't serve take away after bottle shop hours. Maybe go here for hotel although the international seems nicer, go to liquor legends for bottle shop. Suggesting edit for category as it's not primarily a bottle shop and no idea what the hours actually are except that they close early.
