CC Hood Reserve reviews
28Barren dirt ground, big dogs and little dogs together. My puppy who is very confident was bullied there by dogs and their owners didn't intervene.
My dog absolutely loves this park, very friendly people and their fur babies, clean and easy access to all things you might need while taking your dogs for a walk and close safe parking so your fur babies aren’t near any busy main roads
Perfect place to walk the pooch and it has an agility training ground! For a longer walk, there are lots of reserves connecting the area.
Tips: Do not wear fancy cloth, other dogs jumping & saying hello to you and end up with lots of muddy paw marks on your clothes. Wear something ready to wash
The council does not care about this dog park. There are lots of missing parts of the lawn.
Some dogs are not really well-behaved, so dog owners need to keep on their eyes on dogs all the time (just in case)
The hood has had a lot of work done to it over the years, it now has a dog park and new toilets. Could do with a bigger, better playground
Ilove this place. Great dog park - doesn't really seem too busy. Love working on the outdoor gym
A fenced area of sloping scrub with a couple of jumps / tunnels. Dusty when dry and boggy when wet. OK size overall with a bitumen path around and water available.
Great share park has enclosed area so your pooch can't escape to run around without its lead gives the dogs opportunity to "have a play date " with other dogs. Also good for kids or others who don't own a dog and can acquaint themselves with dog if they can't own one.
Big dog park in the middle of the park with lots of trees and two drink stations for the doggos
Fun playground with excellent walking track for the young explorer. Also conveniently has a dog park for adventurous dogs. Not as much shade in the afternoon sun at the kids playground though
Experience loved by all the people & their dogs enjoyment noted. Water & poo bags supplied!
Beautiful gum trees full of a multitude of birds, lovely walking trail with seating for the weary or just plain watching the world go by, small creek. Childrens play ground, picnic area. Clean Toilet facilities. Outdoor gym if your feeling energetic (don't forget the antibacterial wipes) just to be safe:)
Fabulous Dog park had 2 double gated entrances. Waste bags and water stations at each gate (1 water station was out of order). Lots of shade from both trees and shelters. Seating for people.
A great dog agility course, including multiple tunnels, hurdles and weaving poles. Of the few dogs we saw all were well socialized, had no problems at all.
Had a lovely peaceful morning. Thanks!
A beautiful place to walk look at natures reserves great for family outings grab the dog grab your kids and have a picnic beautiful day out.
Dis are ver' good park.
Dere is big dogses, and small dogses, and medium dogses.
Dey are goodest gels and goodest boyes.
Sometimes there are frogs.
I like frogs. Ribbit.
And dogs. Woof!
Park has new toilets, with baby change table for small humans. And dog drinking fountain oitside.
Good dog park with plenty of space and nice facilities. Also has ablutions, outdoor gym and oval.
Nice new playground with a dedicated dog park right next door. Excellent for traditional families with fur babies. They can all play in the one place and you can keep an eye on your flock.
Big ol' trees, playground, exercise equipment, soccer oval and fenced dog play park - and toilet facilities!
Totally enclosed, great for dogs.
Wouldn't recommend after 3.00 p.m. And definitely not after 5.00 p.m. As there are a few owners that don't mind their aggressive dogs attacking.
Beautiful park in Panorama neighburhood includes very nice guarded aeria for your dog to be unleashed and play with other dogs. However, the playground dose not have enough and variant facilities.looks like this park has been designed mostly for adults.
Great dog park. So nice to have a park where dogs of all sizes can play and run themselves ragged. We go to CC Hood regularly and are yet to encounter any aggressive or antisocial dogs, or owners. For people with medium and big dogs it's especially lovely as there are usually a few friendly retrievers/labs/pointers/mutts around (unlike some other parks/beaches where small dogs and/or overly-protective/fearful owners predominate). Strongly recommend to anyone with a social pup!
