Lovely theatre runned by volunteers. Seats were comfortable. We went to watch kids movie during school holidays. We expected more people but we practically had the whole cinema to ourselves.

Hosted a school graduation there and operated lights, sound and video. Fantastic staff who gave a full rundown of their equipment and gave all the info needed for a successful night. Fantastic atmosphere and great venue for any occasion!

Wonderfull place to visit.
As its one of the oldest still active movie theaters in town.
And it still has all the bells and whistles and instruments from back in the day. Befor the movie the piano moves up in a lift to play its intros

A step back in time, such a friendly place and love watching the organ come up and then listening and watching the grand lady

Beautiful old art deco building.
The novelty of the pipe organist rising out of the floor must be unique.

It's the one place I can go where I can impress my date with that huge organ. Once it goes down, we can both enjoy a good movie.

Love this theatre. Run by volunteers who do EVERYTHING to make your visit memorable. So professional in their endeavours to create the perfect scene for each special film they preview and encourage the attendees to dress for the occasion. Of course MY delight is listening to the lovely talented man who plays the wurlitzer organ before each showing. Truly a wonderful experience that EVERYBODY should have at least once in their lives. Thankyou to the dedicated staff who truly love the Capri Theatre and try to keep it going for EVERYBODY.

So lucky to have this old jem still, what a beauty! Stall seats are a bit tight for large frames, but upstairs are pretty good!

A charming classic run by volunteers who go out of their way to help. We had an issue with tickets we'd booked online through a third party and the Capri staff were very helpful in making sure we didn't miss out on seeing our movie. Thanks

Delightful period venue, good sound for a live show! It was a sell-out so the theatre was packed and I felt a little too warm! Would've appreciated the air con cooler, or at least more movement of air.
Seats were comfortable with good view to the stage and performance. Parking was a little tricky especially being a Saturday night and long weekend. Ushers and ticket staff were really top class.as was the performance! I would recommend the Capri theatre.

Great night at beautiful restored Capri. Lovely 15minutes performance on the mighty spectacular Wurlitzer organ before 'The Duke' began.

Such a beautiful place to go and see a movie! The seats are so comfortable, the decor is stunning, the candy bar is well-stocked and very well priced. I'm not really sure why this is not the most popular cinema in Adelaide? !

A local treasure, volunteer-run cinema with regular organ performances before the film starts. Lots of space, with ground floor and balcony seats. Great candy bar with bags of Haighs, alcoholic drinks and regular candy bar items.

Historical Movie Theatre run by an amazing team of dedicated volunteers. Can also be hired for Weddings. The historic Organ is just amazing, with viewing windows on each side of the Screen / Stage, to also see the Organ workings is always a pleasure to experience, thrilling the senses of hearing and sight. Do not miss a life time opportunity, if it is presented to you, to experience this Venue, with the Organ In full Splendor

What a step back in time. The most beautiful Art Deco buildings I've ever been in you, would think your back in the 1940s. All the staff looked the part in there red waste coats and very Comfortable seating.
