Really interesting, went up the Lighthouse but unfortunately couldn't go right to the top to see the lamp. Great view from the top

Didn't stay at the accommodation. The area itself has some nice views. Something to do not far from Penneshaw.

Great experience to visit a historic lighthouse with small fees. After finishing the guide tour you can walk around on small historic trails. BTW be prepared to drive on a rough gravel road.
PS. The cafe part has been closed.

Very knowledgeable guide. We did the lighthouse tour and walked to the top. Do not miss this on your visit to Kangaroo Island.

Loved this tour. So much information for the kids to learn by reading books, looking at maps, reading pamphlets. Lots to touch and do. The tour was excellent. Very hands on, we actually got to go right up the lighthouse. Well worth the money.

Great tours of lighthouse. Watch out for tiger and copperhead snakes in the area, both deadly. Great views of surrounds and history of the place is amazing.

Extremely well preserved and presented lighthouse and grounds offering fabulous views. We loved the opportunity to see up close a Fresnel Lens. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Well worth a visit.

Great historical attraction. The tours provide some interesting historical events in the island's history and early beginnings.

Love a good Lighthouse. Would be even better if there was a cafe or restaurant here. What an incredible place it would be to visit for lunch.
Great to see the place looking nice and fresh after the fires a few years back.

Sadly only able to make a brief stop at this beautiful place. The museum looked to be very interesting, if you like lighthouses, and the walk was super.

Absolutely loved the Light House tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided plenty of opportunity for photos. A definite highlight.

We had the place to ourselves at 5pm on a autumn day early March. There are 3 cottages, 2 for accommodation and one as the information centre as I think the old information centre a bit down the hill has been abandoned due to what looks like poor choice of building materials with salt spray a constant threat. The predecessors used stone, a much better long term option
Great views up & down the coast with rocky cliffs and the wild & windy seas.a small walk to see the old ruins of the original light house keepers cottages a bit over a kilometre round trip. Easily see the mainland. Whilst not as good as Cape du Couedic lighthouse, its cheaper & not as far

Some Unseal road drive, You have to do the tour so you can view closely otherwise you can only see from outside. Could spend 10-30 min here.

Wr only had a very brief visit as we were looking for fish, but a stunning location with glorious well priced overnight accmmodations which would be magnificent to stay at.
Lighthouse tours a couple of times a day as well. I think park ranger said 150 (?) steps.
Never having been up a lighthouse this would be awesome.
Next time!
