Cam Wah Chinese & Vietnamese Restaurant reviews
42So im a bit confused. On the website menu, you can get a quote? I dont recall getting 'quotes' for food before and u can look at a gallery but doesnt have probably the most important thing like a menu? So i dont know what they serve and for how much.so cant see myself racing there anytime soon
I love, love this place. The food is amazing. If you love fresh Asian cuisine and super friendly service, this is the place for you
One of the OG Vietnamese restaurants. Been going here since I was a child. Still ordering the same dishes too. Authentic flavours,
Simply Delicious!
Fantastic Chinese Doughnuts. Super busy, just hope you come early because they do not do booking since there are a lot of people that eat there. The owner is keeping it covid safe and the food is very authentic. I got the seafood egg noodle soup
Saw on the review re waiting time. Surprisingly no waiting and get a table very quickly. The only staff is nice. That is all the good things end.
We ordered a pancake and a cluster, it was too dough, very heavy but crisp. Seafood noodles - no favour in the broth and not much seafood. The beef stew noodle, I don’t even know what is the soup base. Beef are soft but no much taste. I drank quite a bit of soup and it’s toooo much MSG. No rush to go back.
Curlers are rarely to see in Adelaide, I am so surprised that they serve many transitional south east Asian foods.
No frills Vietnamese diner. If you’re overwhelmed with the menu go for the dropped noodles with pork under chefs special.
Best duck maryland noodle soup in Adelaide. Do yourself a favour by ordering the fresh & hot Youtiao as your entree. The place is a bit old and the front is run by one man show (waiter/cashier). There's car park at the back but is not tar road.
I like the price and location. It has the canteena vibe. Everytime I go here something doesnt agree with me. No, that isnt usual and I have eaten all over the world. Three times I have tried this spot and I can not deny the consequences. I do not recommend it.
SO GOOD! Decent price, great food. The place is always packed with locals, that should tell you what you need to know. Get the savoury pancake & fried chinese curlers to dip in your sauce / broth.
Personally only come here for their specialties like their deep fried bread stick or their porridge which is a must try. Everything else is ok.
Don't be fooled by the run down appearance of the building, the food is exceptional! Probably the only place in Adelaide where dropped noodles is sold (aka 老鼠粉)
This place have variety of Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine.the price is reasonable with Excellence stunning customer services.
The owner of the place always welcome the guest with open heart and open arm. I would recommend this place to all Chinese and Vietnamese people who in South Australia also for those who want to try out the original traditional Chinese and Vietnamese food.
Nice food and love the fried chinese doughnut. It is a must to order the the entrees. The longan on ice is so refreshing. Definitely will go back again.
Always a family favourite. Service is super fast. Food is delicious and the quality always consistent.
Came to this out of the way suburban restaurant nestled between a factory, a train station and some empty land to find a bustling restaurant full of people enjoying honest and delicious food. Reasonably priced and duck noodle soup to die for.bookings will be needed for busy period
Love the food! Quality home cooked meals by a family run business. Highly recommend the Wet Dimsim with Tomato (Xiu Mai Nuoc) with either the Fried Chinese Curlers (Dau Cha Quay) or Chinese Savoury Pancake (Banh Tieu)! You won't be disappointed and it is especially perfect for cold winters.
This place is well known for their wet dimsum with fried Chinese curlers and duck noodle soup. Wet dimsum is sweet and salty and delicious to dip with a freshly fried Chinese curler. Duck is so tender and broth is deep and meaty.
They specialized in wet xiu mai, chinese donut, sesame pastry and duck noodles. Recently redecorated.
We’ve been coming here for years & years, a small family run Vietnamese / Chinese eatery - and still love it.
A great casual place, family friendly, well known for its Chao Quay (deep fried dough sticks), Banh Tieu (round fried dough with sesame) & Xieu Mai (Vietnamese meatballs) freshly made in-house. It’s recently has a slight revamp with new furniture & a coat of paint & eftpos available. Still the same great menu, prices also changed, still very reasonable. The trading have changed, only 10am to 6pm now.
