I have used this service twice, one for my son when he was 4 months old and one for myself today. I am very satisfied with the efficiency and professional service on both occasions. Doctors showed up within 2 hours and I was able to wait in the comfort of my own home. My regular GP is always fully booked for one week at a time and many GPs are not taking new patients. I always try to avoid ED for things I don't consider emergency ie.my son had an oozing rash and I had persistent blocked nose, headache, lethargy and intermittent fever for almost a week. Therefore getting a locum doctor to come to my house via Call The Doctor is the best solution. They were able to assess, diagnose and give me a script within reasonable timeframe. I strongly recommend this service especially if it isn't an emergency and it's after hour so you can't get to a GP and you want to avoid crowded ED which will be full of contagious diseases where you can't get any rest while you are waiting to be seen.

Booked a G. P at 3pm, with a polite receptionist. It’s almost 11 p.m, we have not heard anything. I phoned to enquire about the status of my booking and unfortunately the man who has no reception skills, with limited English, couldn’t be bothered looking at my booking. It’s saddening that someone with a serious problem has to go to emergency as it would be quicker. This hobo, gave no reason. Just hung up. Shame on on you

Beyond annoyed!

I booked at 9 pm, and 1am still no doctor.ring back twice and keep getting told they will send an eta soon.

1: 30 am rang back and asked, "Am I any closer? " I then got a text saying id gone up in the que,
Ring again as still no eta.
Reception staff apparently couldn't tell me!
2am I cancelled as I couldn't be bothered following it up as it's not my job!

What an absolute waste of my time!

They rang me at 4am the day I left this review. They cannot tell me WHY.they also seem to be all overseas, so you can't actually put a proper complaint in.

Rudest doctors with no accountability! I was hung up on after waiting four hours for the appointment! I did not get the prescription that I urgently required. Spoke to a foreign doctor that really didn't care about me. Spoke for 30 seconds then got hung up on. Putrid disgusting service. And they still charge your Medicare!

Amazing service I booked a telehealth appointment and the doctor called me 7 minutes later. I have always had very good service in the past with home visits as well

I received call from the doctor pretty quickly and addressed my concern in a short time. Doctor seemed reasonably informative and handled the conference really well.

Open at 6pm. Booked online and at 6.40 was told teleconsult at 7.30. At 11.45am switched off phone to try and sleep. Missed call at 12.02. Went to real Dr this morning.

Worst service ever - do not bother.
I booked a consultation 9.45am on a Sunday and was told that the doctor would be there between 4-8pm. 8.20pm I call the operator to ask where the doctor is at and she informs me that there will be a long wait before he will get here. I ended up going to bed instead. If you have another option, avoid this service by all means.

Booked myself and my three children in to be seen by one of your doctors and 6.45pm. I was told doctors start time will not be until 8 pm. I called at 9.30pm for a rough eta, was told not possible to get this. Explained to the consultant I have a newborn and two sick children to get to bed and will keep them up should the doctor be on his way if not, I'll just put them to sleep. Called again at 12am for an eta, one of your consultants advised they'd reach out to a doctor and call back. I received a call back advising we would be seen in the next two hours. 2.5 hours later i get a call advising the doctor is 10 mins away. The doctor arrived after 6.5hours of waiting for him to check temp and chest. Did not check ears or throat? Pointless visit to be honest and strongly suggest to stick with a more reputable locum service.

I rang at 11: 05am jad an automated response telling me I was 19th in queue and verified my number was told I wouldn't loose my spot in the queue, I have literally waited all day, it is 9: 25pm. No call back, what a waste of a day waiting for a call. When I did try to ring back at 5pm I couldn't even get through.

On hold after prompts for 10 minutes then it hangs up.
Waste of time.

Great service definitely recommend
No long waiting time on phone to get appointment like the other big home doctor services
Was advised could take 3hrs but doctor arrived with nurse in under 1hr

Arrived into Adelaide Sunday afternoon with my baby who was becoming unwell. Was advised a 2 - 3 hour wait (which I consider to be a good response time) and the Doctor arrived in under an hour. He was efficient and informative and competent. Thank you.

Was told I would need to wait at least 7 hours for an appointment. With limited other options, I accepted. Hours later, they informed me that actually there had been an error and they wouldn't have anyone in my area to complete my booking. I was left in the lurch. I understand mistakes happen but to add extra hours to an ill/in pain person's wait and then to leave them scrambling to access other services is unprofessional and creates significant additional distress.

I was attended by a kind and knowledgeable doctor, one i would gladly see as a regular GP as opposed to just for a medical note- it was within 3 hours of calling and the customer support was lovely and patient. Thank-you to them all. Also bulk billed.

Friendly guy. Long wait time due to needing more Dr's on staff. Hopefully they can get this as overall I found the service pretty good.

Were told Doctors were finished in my area, Ottoway SA, 2: 00am Sunday, isn't that when the locums are supposed to be working, good old Adelaide, high electricity and no Doctors after hours, ESPECIALLY LOCUMS
