Caffe Primo

Staff very rude. We ordered our meals and was told to line up for the drinks. Waiting for ages. She served other people their meals with their drinks (mind you I was waiting 1st) then to say I'm busy you will have to go next door to get your drinks. I said we have already ordered our meals and you are serving other customers drinks.

I wouldn't recommend this place. Asked the lady serving at the counter for a table for 7, said they are fully booked out even though there were empty tables available. Told us we can sit next door in the tavern if we can find a table and not to order before 7pm as they are busy. We placed our order by 6.40 and were happy to wait. We got all our food served by 7pm and by this time the Caffe Primo restaurant was also empty. Clearly they were not happy to welcome more customers on a busy night. The food we ordered was below average. I got the Chicken Pepe that was burnt and dry, I then ordered gravy in hope it will make my meal taste better. Guess what, the gravy never came. Fairly poor service, I had to tell the guy clearing our table that I didn't get the gravy, he apologised and offered a refund which was not necessary for a $2.50 gravy. There is a lack of communication in their system and poor service for not serving their customers good quality food and items they paid for. Please tell your chefs to make better quality food, it should at least be eatable. I'm also a hotel owner and couldn't believe the lack of service in this business.

Would rather a microwave meal and a bag of salad, i paid $34 for charizo and prawn fettuccini I got 3 pre frozen prawns and nearly choked up on the charizo skin, never again! Discussed completely, if I wasn't already in my PJs I would have driven back and had a very serious discussion with the cheff and demand my money back, thank god my dog eats anything. 20 minutes after I ate it I was violently ill, thank god I didn't feed it to my Dog, I will take the rema back tomorrow lunchtime and demand my money back and never eat there again, about 3 or 4 years ago it was great, loved the food, not now or ever again

Very friendly staff that are very helpful, place deserves to be packed for lunch the food is exquisite had qarlic prawns and pork loaded chips was best meal I've had for a long time.
Didn't have to wait long and everyone loved the food 100% recommend pizzas are superb

For a simple dining experience this venue works. Most restaurants bring all the meals to the table at the same time. One meal took quite a bit longer, to the point that I had to ask about it. Food was ok but they have cut back on some of the things that made the venue more enjoyable such as the complementary garlic bread.

Tonight’s tea was absolutely pathetic not to be rude but for over $100 for food it was vary vary disappointing dry small and just really not nice

The most friendly service from start to finish by all. Tammy was helpful, friendly and 10/10!
They even helped with menu selection.
Observed thorough cleaning of chairs, tables and booths during my visit.
The food came out fast and was fresh.
The most succulent chicken breast I have ever eaten with my polo avocado as well as soft and ripe avocado.
Dined alone but sighted both families and larger parties - suited for all.
Fair prices and joined with the local pub as a bonus.

Sticky pork belly was a little bit burnt not the pork belly but the sticky sauce a bit over cooked ie burnt not recommended

Food was good. And the entertainment was top notch. I got to watch the staff mop up the floors from the torrent of water coming in through the cieling. The water has clearly been coming In for quite some time. There are some very old water marks on the walls and the staff a clearly very practiced at keeping it from spreading too far.

Nice meals at reasonable prices, staff were friendly even though they were flat out. This cafe Primo is better than the last few we have been to. The beers were nice and cold.

I enjoyed a lunch meal with a friend. Food was delicious and hot. Portions were generous considering this was a senior's meal.

NOT GLUTEN FREE. One option on the menu - chicken salad and they were advised I was coeliac. Should have been called mustard mayo salad with chicken garnish! The chicken was cooked well but the whole thing was smothered in the mayo and totally ruined. Took around 45 minutes after eating what I could when scraped sauce off that the pain arrived! Avoid at all costs if you are gluten free!

Iam here working briefly the company has organised us to eat there dinner lunch and breakfast. Tonight I had there rump steak well Done. Wow I havernt had steak like that in so long. Definitely worth it. I even pay myself to eat that again an very quick kitchen took about 15 minutes tops had it served to me excellent service

Stopped to have some lunch on our way to
Port Kenny. Ordered Chicken Salad and Chicken Schnitzel, which was good. Friendly staff.

Just dont order the Seafood Platter or the Barramundi. We didn't get our meal until everyone else had finished their meals.
Not impressed.

Worst restaurant ever.
Went there 2 times and that was nightmare. 1st time I was a bit early than the opening time. But after they opened, staff didnt ask for what i after and i had to order myself. Steak was awful and bitter. 2nd time, i sat there for 10mins but the staff didn’t even bring the menu for me, but for others.

Some of the staff here were very disrespectful and the facial expressions when asked for something was very bad

Chips not crunchy, a bit salty on side dish but overall food is good at a fair price, friend staff. In door sitting which is great for winter.

Ordered a spaghetti bolognase which went in the bin after 2 mouthfuls. The sauce was dry and very sweet
I also ordered a going green with gluten free pasta to which they forgot to use gluten free pasta which made my partner very sick as you could imagine. All they did was make excuses as to a possible mix up and offered a voucher which I declined as we won't eat from there again
