Coffee is to bitter on multiple occasions need to fix this, and then I can change my review.

Best cafe experience in Mawson Lakes in terms of friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are caring and engaging and like interacting with the customers. Had a very nice toasted chicken foccacia here and the stringy fries that came with it were crispy and well seasoned. This is a favoured destination for many business professionals in the area. Located on Park Way the traffic noise isn't too bad but less foot traffic than Mawson CBD means it's a more peaceful destination where you can have a private conversation.

I ordered sunny side up eggs on toast and it was perfect. The seasoning and herb garnishes were great

I made a group booking for the morning and the food was fantastic! The service staff were very friendly and despite a large number of customers, everyone was served in a timely fashion. Highly recommend this business!

Update: there's a new management. Name retained, but cuisine has shifted Occidental. You can order all day brekkie, basic lunch options n a mellow tasting coffee.
First: Location. No other eatery in that road means this is the go to spot for a quick bite. Second: quick food preparation. Third: simple unpretentious menu that has easier to make food. Fourth: taste is average, presentation is good. Ambience: darker interior with adequate number of tables n billboard music playing non stop.
Summary: Cafe Merci is neat little eatery, with a visit for a quick bite n no judging food.

Coffee frappe was simple and great. Unfortunately my smashed avo was a let down. Oily and wet toast (maybe cooked on the grill with bacon?) And a Coles premade salad slapped on top. Cherry tomatoes were uncooked and the avocado was passed prime and very brown.

Staff were great and polite.

Visited here today for a quick bite to eat and a coffee. I got the croissant and a large caramel latte. The latte was passable but have definitely had better ones at a maccas drive through. The croissant was OK, nothing special and was 100% not worth the near $11 for it. All in all I think better off driving the extra 1-2kms into Mawson lakes at the cafes on the lakeside.

Great place for work meetings and other general gatherings they have a back area thats very well set up with power points for laptops. Great music always playing in the background

I walked in as a vegan knowing there was no vegan food on the menu and I might just walk out with a coffee, and I was ok with that, but as soon as I asked Anna swung into action and made a delicious open sandwich. Probably one of the best I've had, and especially for something that wasn't on the menu I was super impressed. Anna really considered how the flavours would work together. And the coffee was great too.

Husband and wife team were happy to serve us with only a few minutes to go before closing time.

Very friendly and happy owners. They do a consistently great coffee (I get one most days). Muffins are always fresh and tasty. Good range of sandwiches and authentic Korean dishes.
Would highly recommend if you're just looking for a good coffee and a nice, quiet place to relax, have a meeting or grab a bite to eat.

I go in almost on daily basis, since its close to work. Lovely owners with smiles all the time whom delivers every order passionately. Definitely recommend to others. In fact, I was recommended by others in the office. Best choice ever! Also, they serve Korean lunch which are proven to be authentic.

Always fresh and super tasty. Seems like nothing is pre-made. Interesting Korean fare from the super-nice couple running the place.

A neat and cosy place. Menu is easy to read, simple and enough to figure out what to order when you first arrive. Music is at the perfect volume to relax and enjoy a sip of coffee. I think what holds the cafe back is the parking spaces. It is not easy to find a convenient place to park.

The best coffee and barista in Mawson Lakes. He takes extra care when making coffee and is very neat. The cafe is kept clean and tidy as well as the coffee machinery.

There is always good music playing in the background that makes the vibe even better. It is worth giving it a go.
