Café Fellini reviews
67 We have been going to Fellini for the past many years for our Sunday family breakfast. Was a bit disappointed on our last visit. The brekkie is not enough for one person and many things seem to have been removed and need to be ordered separately.
The Zing is missing.
Surprisingly good. Coffee (skim flat white) was the best I've had in Adelaide over the last 3 months. Tried the Bruschetta and Poached Eggs breakie special.wow, especially if you're after big flavour.lot's of feta and cherry tomatoes and pesto. Friendly staff, absolutely hit the spot
Can’t fault this place. Food was amazing and excellent service. Ordered Spaghetti Marinara, steak & Margarita Pizza. It was so yumm. My kids who never liked to eat outside, they did enjoyed the food.
Although staff were friendly and service was good. The food wasn't great at all. My veal scollapine was not cook well at all. The fish it came with, which is strange for scallopine was not fresh at all. The breadcrumbs on the veal were claggy and my steamed seasonal vegetables were burnt. Not a great meal and the food was way over priced for what was served. Would not reccommend this place.
Awful customer service, waitress was so insistent that anyone over 13 could not order a kids meal. I cannot eat large portions. Never again.
What a disappointment from the moment we booked this place to the minute we left!
We booked table for 8 and it got bungled, anyways they arranged table right in front of the entrance. It was the hottest place in the restaurant with the outside temperature above 35 C and around this table table must be 40. Our request to move us or turn on the aircon was going to deaf ears.
Customer service was absolutely terrible, zero cleanliness and the chef was not following hand hygiene.
Pizzas were undercooked, pasta was a bit better.
Highly highly priced for the quality, taste and portion.
This was our first and definitely the last trip.
Dont bother visiting this place!
Looks amazing. But the bacon was undercooked, the toast was soggy, the mushrooms has sugar on them and the eggs were un-seasoned.
Defenetly best pizza I have had in years. Got our food within 10 minutes on new years eve, so Verry happy regarding service.
Just popped in quickly for a cuppa
Staff were friendly but probably due to Covid was very low on cakes, slices, muffins etc
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!
We came all the way from Barossa with a group of friends only to be so disappointed. We were having a nice meal until we hear the pizza makers swearing being extremely unprofessional. We had no option but to move tables unless we wanted to more of that disgusting talk.
Definitely not a family friendly place. Otherwise the food and service good.
Had brunch here with a Groupon deal previously and it was fantastic! Coffee was good and breakfast portion was huge! Interior decor was rustic and warm. A satisfied customer and will come back soon!
We asked for vegetarian pizza it was NOT good at all the base was too chewy and the top was very poor, not recommend and never go back there
Looking through the reviews and seeing the way the owner responds to unfavourable reviews I hesitated. We had a great breakfast here in the last round year and when a Groupon came up we grabbed it. The Groupon took us to the cafe's menu which I checked to be sure that I would find a meal as I am vegan. No problems so we booked. On arrival we were handed an abbreviated Groupon menu. In fairness Groupon should state that there is a Groupon menu and not take you to the regular menu.
I ordered a margarita minus the cheese and my husband ordered tutto pizza. I can't fault the service by the staff, it wasn't a busy night. My pizza was just a pizza base, napoletana sauce and basil, no fresh tomato, and that was how the menu described it. It was fine. However the tutto was overloaded with topping and cheese, he found thay he could really only eat the outside and the middle two thirds he left. It was a soggy mushy mess. He did give the waiter feedback and to their credit they offered us a coffee on the house.
The bottom line is - if you think less is best on your pizza then maybe find somewhere else.
Used to go to this cafe all the time and recently gone last night and we were very disappointed, the food was great when we got it. What seemed to be the manager took our order and we weren't impressed with the service for the rest of the night.
We were here for breakfast for the first time with a Groupon voucher and had the La Dolce Vita and Pulled Pork. The food was surprisingly good and serving was generous which was surprisingly unusual as we dined on a Groupon deal. The mushrooms were a little bit too sweet for my liking and the (half) sausage was burnt and hard, so unpleasent to eat. Otherwise the eggs were nicely cooked, pulled pork well seasoned and tasty and breads were well toasted and not stale! Service was friendly and quick and we didn't wait long for our food although the place was half packed.
Our only complain was the cashier couldn't seem to produce a tax invoice for us, from when we later found out that we were charged a ridiculous $2.50 for a side of sweet chilli. Their menu prices online are different to the menu at the restaurant too, i.e. Extra salmon is 150% more in store than their online menu. We later on found out that we were overcharged for one of our sides too, but did get our refund eventually.
So - 4 stars for food and 3 stars for experience.
Beautiful fresh pizza. Quickly served. With friendly customer service. The crust of the pizza was made perfectly one of the best I have had beautiful and fluffy. Complements to the chefs
We came into Cafe Fellini this sunday and walked out extremely happy with the service and food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the younger staff member who took our order was so helpful. Our food came out quickly and the wood oven pizzas were the best I've tried in Adelaide! We will be coming back here and telling my friends about this place. Very impressed.
Below average place now! Used to be great but the place is a little outdated and the food was overpriced for what it was.
Needs a complete overhaul - too dark & dingy
It's a decent place mannn, a little overpriced brooo, the food was amazing though dudeee. Would definitely come back again fammm. Not sure about $8 three scoops though sisss. But I ain't tight so I had a triple stack of chocooo.
Poor service and they were NOT busy. Walked in, had to approach staff for seating who then pointed to a vacant table. Waited for 5 minutes before walking out. We were left without menus or drinks. Poor service! Only after leaving the table were we approached by staff.
