Cafe China

Id give it half a star if i could, ate half my chicken and veg dish before i realized the chicken was still raw when i cut into it, great

Went to cafe China yesterday and was served by a super friendly young man who was really helpful. Store really clean and food smells amazing. I love the honey chicken. Definitely recommend.

Our usual chinese spot, i normally call up and order pick up and most of the time its a younger girl that picks up and shes really sweet, but sometimes theres an older lady who is really aggressive.
And weve only gotten sick from eating there once so not too bad.

I must say my experience was a far cry from the negative reviews expressed by others. We ordered two mains and vegetarian fried rice (I'm allergic to prawns) to take away and we were very happy with our meals. The food was delicious and the quantity much more than we expected for a takeaway. There was enough for two people for two meals, at a very reasonable price. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not our first visit to this cafe and won't be our last. Couldn't fault it.

Received wrong order rang cafe China up they said they will reimburse but never have food seemed like it was reheated this was a very bad experience with cafe china

The most bland Singapore noodles I've ever had. And $3.90 for a can of drink what a rip off. I'll be going back to my normal Chinese shop

Best Chinese restaurant down south. Has been my favourite for many years. The food is fantastic and the prices are great.
You won't regret this one!

Ordered take away lemon chicken took it home to discover they gave me a recooked one it was dark and dry I took it back showed him the chicken made me a fresh lot didn"t offer any thing for my trouble.

Considering the price, I can't say that Cafe China is worth the time or money you'll spend. The rice was dry. The dim sims were claggy and difficult to eat. The satay entrees I ordered were overly spicey for a peanut satay and overall, the meals I purchased were not worth the money.

Go to Yum Sing instead. You'll thank me.

Always friendly service for dine in or take away. Reliable quality food from the bain marie if you are in a hurry or order something more special if dining in. It can get a bit noisy when busy.

We are normally happy everytime we ordered foodsin this place, thiswas our most favorite chinese restaurant and takeaways in the south.but the last time we ordered it was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.hubby picked up the orders.the fried rice was cold, it wasnt fresh cook, the lemon chicken was a bit hard and we believe its not fresh cook either the rest are fine, except one of the dish was placed in the disposable cardboard that soaked all over it, its normally in plastic container…. I dont know if we are going back to this place.its disappointing….

Service was very friendly but food was a big let down. The pork ribs in plum sauce were not ribs but slices of pork and the batter was thick and gelatinous not nice at all. The Mongolian steak was OK but the noodles were just nasty in taste. Would I return? No.

Food not to bad, expensive for what you get I even found hair in my lamb. Older man serving has no customer service not friendly at all.

The food was lovely, we ordered from the menu and from the pre prepared section.
Service was efficient however it is never particularly friendly.

Food is consistently good at this Cafe. I have a number of favourite dishes and easy recommend this Cafe if you are looking for quick, easy and delicious Chinese.

Friendly staff.price is very good.clean and tidy restaurant. Food is the best.we eat here at least 2 times per week.

Very expensive but very nice. Have had issues in the past - noodles were off and smelt disgusting. Someone i know ordered lemon chicken and the chicken wasnt cooked. Took it back and refused refund or replacement. However dont let them deter you from going here. I still go here and will recommend.

Clean, that's all I can say. When it comes to food qulity, quantity, service, price.etc it's not that good.

Lovely family owned and operated business, delicious food in a clean restaurant, with reasonable prices. The tv with captions is actually a nice touch when you dine out alone. Will definitely return.
