Have called 4 times left a message, regarding a quote, they have never returned my calls. The company delivered some furniture from harvey norman and I was impressed with the guys a good job done. Obviously they dont want the work.

We got the removal done on a Saturday. The guys were efficient and on time. Took reasonable care with stuff and navigated a couple of tricky apartment buildings well. I used these guys 5 years previously and they had been good then too. I’d recommend them

Alan, Jason and Sam are professional, friendly with a few jokes thrown in and moved us with ease, no complications and a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend their services.

CN removalist delivered our furniture. Have to say very impressed with both men, Rob and Anthony.
Their manners and personality sensational. What a delight to have these men in charge of assembling furniture with such a great attitude.
I would highly recommend this company at all times. Well done Rob and Anthony, you do your company proud.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Their removalists moved my friend's entire house and damaged her white glass table - she has tried to contact to negotiate damages/reimbursement but they won't return any correspondence. They have asked for a quote, which has been submitted, but no contact has been returned! She explained that the table is no longer available in store for purchase and still no reply! DO NOT USE! ABSOLUTE SPAM! COMPLETE CON ARTISTS. Such a disappointment!

My initial interaction with this company was good. The admin staff was efficient and polite and booked me in with minimal issue and confirmed a pickup time of 7am.

I ensured that all my belongings were packed and ready to go by 6.45am on the day. I waited until 8am on the day and the truck did not show. At this point I contacted both the owner (who did not pickup) and the admin staff (who also didn’t pick up). I then sent a text to both parties & the admin staff Kellie responded saying that one of the removalists had called in sick and my appointment had been moved to midday.

I was incredibly upset & disappointed at the complete lack of professionalism shown by everyone. If staff had called in sick, it was the responsibility of C&R to contact me to notify me at once, not wait for me to contact them and chase them around. It was over an hour of my morning initially wasted, and I had to shift an entire day of appointments to allow for move to be rescheduled. It was incredibly disrespectful to have kept me waiting without any sort of notice. It also meant that as a sole trader of my own business, I lost money because I had to cancel/reschedule on my own appointments with my own customers as a result of this stuff around. If I was a parent and had young children and this situation had happened, I wouldn’t have known how to cope.

Despite all of this, I still had to pay full price, no apology was offered to me, and I was not offered any sort of compensation or discount for the severe inconvenience caused to me, despite receiving a booking confirmation with a specific time.

To add to this, I booked C&R back in October 2020 for a move which they also last minute but I didn’t kick up a fuss as they managed to find me another removalist (Tim from Safe Removals) they were networked with. It is really unacceptable that a customer has to chase up the provider without any sort of notice being given to them about a changing situation the customer is not responsible for. Had I had been contacted by 7am on the day of my move, I would have been able to organise myself a little better. Instead I had to wait until past 8am for contact, and then until midday for the truck to arrive, and until after 2pm for whole process to be done with. That’s hours of my day and $$ that I lost.

I appreciate that all my items were removed and re installed at the new home with a lot of care and attention to detail. The staff who were present on the day were really good, polite and professional and are an asset to the company. This is the only reason my review is at 2 stars and not 1. Unfortunately I will not recommend this company to anyone as the management and customer service side of things was not a good experience for me.

I have booked nearly a month in advance with Craig for my house moving. As I had lots of furniture to move I had requested to have a big truck and Craig had kindly send me photos to confirm as well. However on the day of move couple of guys turned up with a small truck which is only about one third in size of the one I had booked. I have been told that they have been subcontracted. Made several attempts to contact Craig but to no avail. I had to send those guys back because it was not going to work, unless they make about 4 or five trips. Rang Craig from a different phone, this time he picked up, couldn't give any explanation reg the mess up/ why the job was sub contracted. Said will try to contact the other company for "better deal", however they didn't have any bigger trucks available. I was panicking as I have tenants moving into the property in the next couple of days. I had to call back those guys and had to agree to their exorbitant fare and terms managed to transfer some of my furniture.
They were not available for subsequent trips as they had other bookings. I was left with most of my furniture. Couldn't even get a rental truck as it was all booked out. Luckily a friend of mine offered his Van and with the help and hard work of my friends we have manged to move the furniture in a small van in 36 degree temp in 4 or 5 trips. One of my friend got back injury as well. (This is after paying the second company well over I should have paid for the CN transport)
I couldn't believe this company's standard to be this low. Did n't even bother to inform customer after transferring the job to someone else.
Never ever trust this company. Such a disappointment and disgrace.

The guys that moved us seemed to lack experience and quality moving furniture took 2hrs longer than they should have fixing there mistakes, broke my daughter's centre piece of her bed which they had to fix. We have dents and chips in some furniture including stairs and admin don't seem to answer emails or messages

The staff from C&N Removals were prompt, polite, helpful and very professional, they handled the goods and furniture from our shop very carefully. Everyone from their office staff to the movers were great and made the tricky job of moving a shop full of toys a breeze, we would recommend them to anyone and use their services again without hesitation.

I highly recommend C&N Removals. They were exceptional, by far the best removalists that I have ever used. I loved they way they pointed out slight damages on my stuff so that I knew it wasn't them but also took extra care. Daniel and Brenton were so efficient and friendly. Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Allan and Sam were amazing, they work and communicate exceptionally well together, As a typical paranoid woman i am with my items, they were professional knowing what they were doing. They were challenge with big waldrobes, washing machines etc to be move from my big home into my new tiny place with tight corner walls and doors and watching the whole time they never touch any walls. Allan and Sam manoeuvred items without any hassle. I wish i had them on speed dial as Hire a Hubby, Anything i asked to be lifted and re-shifted of any wardrobes to different rooms, there was absolutely no hesitation and my requests were granted with pleasure. Two great removlist working for C& N.thank you Craig once again for helping me out thanks Rose Lucas Walkerville

On moving day Craig, the Managing Director of C&N overcharged us $419.30 more than his fixed quote. We were tired at the end of a long day and paid it because he promised the excess would be refunded when we returned the empty boxes.

After he collected the boxes and obtained our bank details, it took us over 8 weeks of emails and phone calls to get our money back. From the time C&N had our money Craig’s communication was tardy and ‘politely’ non-committal, and it was only when we sought the support of Consumer Business Services and issued a formal statement of complaint that he finally honored his promise and refunded the money. Reading other reviews it appears that there is a fairly common theme in relation to dealings with C&N after the move. We wouldn’t use C&N again but if you should choose to then we strongly advise you pay no more than the amount originally quoted leaving any excess to be discussed afterwards.

The move itself went reasonably well. The packers and removalists worked fairly well. There were a couple of minor breakages (which is to be expected moving a whole household) but nothing of significance.

The 2 guys who moved our furnitures over the weekend were punctual, reliable, polite and friendly. They worked real hard and looked after our furnitures. The price was also reasonable.
