I stayed in the rose cottage this weekend with 3 of my friends & absolutely loved it. You can even bring your pets along too. The area where the cottage is located is so tranquil & away from the hustle & bustle of the city. The hosts Pam & Tim are the most wonderful people as well & they made the stay here absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend the cottages to other people as well.

Really enjoyed our stay on this neat and lively bush property. Tim was great with us and has an art for creating wooden decor throughout the land. Perfect distance away from town too!

A gorgeous and green oasis in the bush. Tim is so welcoming and makes you feel at home, he also allows pets which puts the cherry on top of an already perfect retreat. The amenities block and surrounding buildings are one of a kind thanks to his craftsmanship, you really have all you need and more! So if you're looking for a secluded, quiet and beautiful place to stay.you can't beat this!

Tim gave us a complimentary upgrade from the room we rented to the bear cottage. Not knowing it was called the bear cottage were not expecting to see so many teddy bears there! Nor did we expect such a beautiful and tranquil view from the kitchen and lounge. Our stay was quiet, tranquil and the perfect relaxing getaway from our usual busy lives. The cottage was clean and cosy and well equipped with everything we needed. There was also plenty of space for our dog to run around in the beautiful gardens. Tim was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We only stayed one night but wished we could stay for longer!

Have stayed at both Teddy Bear Cottage and Rose Cottage and enjoyed the experiences in both. Each has their own character, coziness and lovely scenery. Very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend for couples and families alike. Tim and Pam are fantastic and look after their guests very well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway away from all the city hustle.

This was a fantastic place to relax with family, great location between the Coonawarra wine region and mount gambier. We stayed in the rose cottage which was really nice, great fire place and everything you would need to use while away. Take your food and your all set. Great places to walk and take in the country air. We will be back again to experience it in the warmer months. Thanks Tim it was really a great time.

We had a simply delightful long weekend in Bear Cottage at Bush Haven last weekend. The views out the living room and kitchen could almost keep you inside all weekend; across glorious rambling lawns with majestic gums, into the neighbouring farm with grazing cattle and sheep.

This was made all the more sumptuous with a thumping wood burning fire; which, by the way, had already been running for a couple of hours before our arrival on a chilly early evening.

The cottage has all you need for your getaway - fully equipped kitchen and living rooms, perfectly formed bathroom, two bedrooms and the convenience of a washing machine.

The cherry on top > it's pet friendly! We took our two fur babies with us who spent hours near the fire whilst staring at the cattle and sheep in the near distance - a heavenly weekend for them.

It's only about 15 minutes from the large regional centre of Mt Gambier and value for money is spot on.

Couldn't recommend more highly if you're looking for a little piece of paradise in South Australia's southeast.

Warning though - there's a bit (well actually a lot and possibly a little bit too much for me) bear activity in the cottage but could be considered a treat for little ones.
