Burra Burra Show reviews
25Awesome showgrounds, plenty of space and lots of flat areas. It's well maintained and the caretaker is friendly and helpful. Water and power available in limited spots. Not a lot of shade, but great base location to explore the region. Great priced at 20 a night currently.
Stayed here for one night with a tent. Very friendly host. Convenient to have picknick table nearby. Pub on walking distance. All good.
Nice little camping with toilet/shower facilities and powered sites based in Burra North just on the far edges of town.
Camping available throughout most the year.
Also this oval holds a great country show with rides, activities for the kids, fireworks and much more.
Great spot. Thank you arty you run a great shop. Weather was unsettled so nice to have power. Town was fascinating. Follow us Sweet-Az RV'n on youtube
Burra is very pretty with lots of historical buildings. The park has only one shower. Need chocks for most sites. Very helpful caretaker. Almost full today. The water is behind the amenities block.and across from the dump point.
Lovely caretaker. Perfect for our needs. Burra is lovely and we will be back on our way home.
Very poor site one shower which hardly drips water for you to have a shower. Millepedes all over toilet and shower needs a good clean. Waste water from individual caravans runs into ground and no taps at all to get water unless you go near the toilet. I know it’s only $20 but that’s not the point.
For $20/night the amenities were disgusting
Only 1 shower available unisex no hook on water we had power
Not very impressed
Caretaker was an agreeable chap
This place was a great stay for a nights camp at this show grounds. Cheap also. Everything availabe. Tolets. Showers. Electricity. RV Dump Point. Fantastic set up
Caretaker is very nice & helpful. Great promoter for the town & his knowledge. Just wish there was a laundromat in the town.
Greeted by a very gruff and unfriendly caretaker. Apparently water hook up is only available to a select few. We were strongly advised to not use the showers. I saw a few vans turn around and leave, not staying. This is not good for the town of Burra.
Limited infrastructure and amenities, open to the elements. Good value option to see the local sites.
Nice spot but the caretaker was rude and arrogant am rating the location not personal experience
Was my first time at the Burra Show, And I have to say that the Burra Show is so much better than the Royal Adelaide Show! The country people are amazing, the atmosphere, surroundings and views are amazing! And the firework display was off the hook! Definitely worth going to, and I will definitely be back in the years to come! #burraburrashow19
Arty the caretaker very helpful and informative
Pity the amenities are a bit outdated but the committee has been granted money to build a better more updated amenities
Overall a nice park to stay at overnight or a few days
My dog Tilly loved the freedom to be off the lead
Once we had paid up we were told that the showers were unavailable due to being painted but no discount on fees
Was going to stop at the show ground but the caretaker must have been having an off day so gave it a miss
Great overnight stop. Arty was very helpful with getting us set up. Nice hot shower and clean amenities. At $20 for a powered site, what more could you ask for!
What a lovely relaxed place.try polly's cafe but at $18 for 2 coffees and 2 scones you may want to try elsewhere
