Burnside Adventure Park reviews
38Large park in middle of eastern suburbs. Eastern side sports park, eastern side plaground, picnic area. No set BBQs, but very clean. Dogs welcome but must be on leed.
Great parks and playgrounds.
Really old spectacular gun trees
The toilet facilities are gross sadly
Nice playground good selection of equipment, plenty of room for the kids to run around, toilets close by and numerous benches and tables.
Kids loved this park, Hazlewood Park is full of majestic old growth gum trees. The playground has a flying fox and a wheelchair swing for disabled kids
Burnside Adventure Park is in the Kensington Gardens reserve. Stonefell Creek passes by it. The environment is very beautiful. More than a dozen kinds of children's entertainment facilities in this playground, along with many animal sculptures carved on a huge log. It's very suitable for children playing, party and barbecue. There are lots of parking lots and parking spaces and public toilet is very close, very convenient.
Sweet-as park this one, great playgrounds, nice little creek, tennis courts, footy, soccer if you can't do it here it's not worth doing
No shade cloth so equipment was very hot on a sunny day. Would be ok if you are there for a picnic, where there is natural shade
This is a fantastic playground sports area, 2 or 3 large ovals. Cricket nets, tennis courts, 2 or 3 separate playground areas one newly refurbished. Clean toilets and BBQ scattered throughout.
Beautiful park, full of native birds. Very peaceful. A great place for a picnic, play tennis or even throw a Frisbee for your beloved canine
Great little playground. Suitable for bigger toddlers and up. BBQ, lots of space to run, kick a ball, picnic. Lovely nature. Stinky loos:)
Our kids loved it 5 kids aged from 10 to 14 years old all loved it they have a bbq, toilets, swings, slippery dip, double flying fox so you can have races beautiful green surrounding trees grass etc, one of the best we've been to.
Spacious, but lots dogs roaming the park as well.
The play equipment is good. The bbq facilities are limited but plenty of greenery & leafy shade.
Firefox has a seat which is handy for little ones.
Climbing equipment, 2x swings, mini slide.
Toilets near parking area.
Parking is limited if tennis & oval is being used for events at the same time.
Been coming here since I was a baby. Toilet lights come on at night, family friendly, tennis coaching, tennis and bowling on the other side, two public courts and a basketball ring. Lots of great trees to climb with adult supervision and kindergarten. Great place for picnics too.
Side note: isn't this place called kensington gardens reserve park or is that just around the playground
One of the best publically free outdoor playgrounds available in Adelaide for kids. Public toilets available beside it. Green grass beside area. Water fountain for everyone to drink from. Variety of playground equipment. Plenty of shade if you want it. Note there is a stream beside. While it's mostly dry, you do need to be mindful of kids wandering off towards it, so be sure to supervise. The area is only lacking a sheltered veranda. Well worth the visit.
It is a very nice and peaceful place. Wide and flat green areas and very nice playground for kids to play
Barbecue facilities, flying fox, swings slides, toilets and more. Popular place for a kids birthday party.
It has a basketball court, few tennis courts, and a lot of stuff to play such as flying Fox, well equipped playground.
