Burgastronomy reviews
47Surprised with how crispy and tender the chicken! It could be put an 'extra' customer service skill for the cashier, than the place could be 5 out of 5 star rating.overall, great food and could improve the environment
It was good without being great. A bit greasy an chip goodbye salty. The place needed a good clean.food left on tables and it was quiet so no real excuse.
Good beer IPA
Girl serving was polite, punctual and professional, simply gorgeous. Food was phenomenal and came out within 5 mins. She even asked us at the end how the food was. Will definitely be coming again.
Burger had plenty of flavour, beef patty had a bit of gristle and could be improved but overall still a decent burger.
Burgers very average nothing special, chips absolutely tasteless. You can tell the chips are really cheap ingredients, not what I expected.
I got a trucker burger and chips tonight and while the staff was quick and nice the quality of food was way below my expectation. The burger was just okay, the meat was not high quality and the overall taste was not anything special, the chips served hot which is good but tasted like cheap vegetable oil! I have had much better burgers in Adelaide with around the same price or even a couple of bucks cheaper.
My favorite place for burgers, poppers, Southern Fried Chicken and Slaw. Plus their bees and ciders support local. Get in on it
I had a burger from here via Uber Eats, and after trying it once i had to go back again. The second time i went into the actual place itself and i was quite happy with it. It's a neat little joint with delicious, perfect sized burgers, complimented by thick-cut perfectly salted chips. Good food no matter the situation but i recommend having it if you're hungover.yum.
A long wait for an underwhelming experience. Took over 15 minutes to get 2 burgers and chips.
Order was almost ready then they realised they had not cooked enough chips to fill our order so the rest sat there on the counter going cold while they cooked them. Serving size of chips was good value, but I did notice one of our serves was much less filled than all the others I saw going out.
Burgers were nothing special, hubby's was ok but my patty was dry, overcooked and a bit rubbery and burger didn't have nearly enough sauce.
They did however appear to be very diligent in filling and checking uber-eats orders, possibly to the detriment of in-store service.
The chicken burger is the one to order here. I had the standard beef.which was average. So give the chicken a shot.
Chips and produce are bought in frozen, chips are not cut from fresh produce despite rich price tag!
Same can be said for their buns, grain fed beef, not grass fed.and chicken.yet don't mind charging $12 onwards up to $18 for a burger, a burger!
I like smaller menus, too much choice can be frustrating, glad that Burgastronomy do a few burgers to perfection.
Loved it, got the Free bird burger and some fried chicken with a spicy bbq sauce and it was just amazingly delicious.
Hands down, the best chicken burger I've had in Adelaide. It's super crunchy and their aioli is soooooo good! I regularly get take away from this spot and I highly recommend it. The place is small and cosy but gets hot sometimes unless the Aircon is at max. Shop owner, please improve ventilation and your music playlist. Loud rock isn't pleasant when dining or having conversations.
Absolutely best mushroom burger EVER! I have eaten many veggie burgers in my life and this one is hands down the best in taste and value.
4/2/19-Chips were cooked in old oil and potatoes are law grade, unhealthy. Burger was good, but not the best. Inside was hot and stinky.
Some of the burgers here are my favourite in Adelaide. The location is rather small, but it's cosy. The mural on the inner wall and the glass bottles around the inner ceiling are quite nice. It usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes for the food to be prepared and served.
Great Burgers (the trucker is my go to) with excellent sides - the corn fritters and jalepeno poppers are oh so grand!
Good service, bottle/can beer on offer. Great for eating in, but I am a couch side kind of guy.
We ordered over the phone, for pick up order and was charged 2 jalapeño poppers (as ordered), with 3 pieces in a bag, turns out one serve of the jalapeño poppers consists of 2 poppers the bare minimum number to even call it “poppers” paid $7 for 3 pieces (which means we are missing 1 popper). NOT WORTH IT. Our mistake for not realising it soon enough, so we called them and they were not interested to do anything about it, they did not even apologise for the mistake. Buns were too thin and the bottom buns were soggy. Patties were super dry. Lastly, the chips did not taste like chips. Worst burgastronomy experience I’ve ever had. We will not come back.
