Buonasera reviews
19Ver dissapointing, it's like we arrived when a family member died. Service was slow, no one smiled or even said good evening or goodbye. The food was average Italian (and I had an Italian mother who was a great cook) and expensive. Portions were good. I will not be returning.
The best meal of home made patsa i have ever had. You must go and try this wonderful cuisine
Excellent home style Italian food. Wonderfully welcoming & generous with time spent with us. Good value for money.
The best home made Italian dining

I fully recommend and trust
this crew. They can take the worry out of planning any special occasion

Group booking for 14. We were well looked after. The food was delicious with great authentic flavours.
Bellissimo! Great Italian cuisine! Marvellous atmosphere! Italian owners.
If you feel like Italian, this place is a must!
Our dining experience started at the restaurant entrance. Buonasera is an exceptionally well presented traditional Italian restaurant. We were promptly welcomed at the door and shown to a table. Music and songs from famous singers like Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and others played quietly in the background, making a pleasant start to our dining experience. The menu choices were classic high end Italian. The wine list was ample with top of the range wines. The Moscato I choose is one of the best I have ever tasted. A perfect balance of berry and sweetness. I choose chicken cacciatore for my mains. It was perfectly prepared and presented. My wife choose spaghetti marinara, thats was perfect as well. Later we enjoyed as serve of Tiramisu, that was the best I have ever tasted. I ordered an expresso coffee. It was that good it did not need sugar. It was perfect on its own. A wonderful Traditional Italian dining experience that was well worth the cost. We will definately dine their again.
Fantastic experience, delicious food and awesome family-oriented owners. We had the most amazing time here, delicious meals and desserts. Went back again before we left Adelaide. Highly recommended!
Buonasera Restaurant had incredible authentic Italian food (and I'd know as I'm Italian) The owner is so lovely and his hospitality is above and beyond. Have been there for several functions and the food is always top grade. 10/10 would recommend!
Good value for money and service was excellent. Owner very friendly and having been in business at this location 52 years. Meals nicely presented, we'll be back.
An excellent old school Italian ristorante. Great food and service. Love the home made gnocci. Top wine selection.try the Scarpantoni reds.
We have been loyal customers for 50
Years.
A friendly attentive atmosphere that is QUIET. Highly recommended.
Ample A/H parking across the road. Always cross at the adjacent traffic lights.
Fantastic food and such friendly family service. Always happy to go off menu and make something special:)
5 stars all the way! Absolutely loved it. Great food and great service. Authentic Italian cuisine. Well definitely be back again for sure!
Bellissimo! Great Italian cuisine! Marvellous atmosphere! Italian owners.
If you feel like Italian, that place is a must!
Was once a great restaurant. Today it is probably great for many Australians but for us Italians, this place is a no go.
What more can I say about this place other than AMAZING!
We had not long arrived from Sydney and couldn't decide what was for dinner and I'm so glad we found this place.
The garlic bread was delicious, you could tell it was made using fresh bread.
The pasta was to die for! The Agnolotti Alla Panna was delicious as well as the Cappelletti Alla Gorgonzola.
The service was outstanding. They where a little busy when we walked in without a booking but made arrangements for us straight away.
If we ever return to Adelaide, I know exactly where I'm going for dinner!
Went on a Friday night (no booking) and the service was *excellent* - staff were very helpful and very caring. Menu is traditional Italian, done superbly. Best way to enjoy this place is to set time aside and enjoy a range of courses and let yourself be looked after.
An Italian restaurant that I have never tried before even though I have driven past it many times. A good menu selection and a large wine list, friendly efficient service and good food. Prices are a little expensive but for real Italian food we thought it was worth while. The empty plate in the picture says it all.
