Bruce's Meat & Poultry Options - St Agnes

Have only recently discovered Bruce's meats, and now will not buy meat anywhere but. The free-range chicken is fresh and ultra tender, the service is great and the shop always looks super clean. Thank you for your stand-out store.

Purchased 4 Hams for our son's families for Christmas expensive but worth every dollar. Reports were the best ham they have ever had. Looks like it may be an annual gift.

Went to this butcher early in the week as my local butcher was closed for Christmas. Bought a eye piece of silverside cannot praise enough even though dearer than my butcher it was absolutely delightful. Have been back again on Saturday to purchase two more pieces of silverside and try some of their sausages. Meat prices as I said were a little dearer than my butcher but worth the trip. I will now be getting silverside from them as it has less fat and smaller pieces. Highly recommend them very pleasant and obliging to customers.

Came in and asked for some meat, older guy who served me grabbed the meat with his bare hands without gloves, he then proceeded to weigh the meat on the weighing scale without any paper or anything under it, so it was just sitting on the scale by itself. It was very unhygienic, in fact I felt repulsed by the lack of hygiene. I doubt those scales are very clean, there were flies flying around the meat and area as well so it definitely wouldn’t be hygienic to place a raw piece of meat on the scales alone. Gloves definitely should have been worn and paper should have been placed under the meat when being weighed, especially during covid. Definitely lost a customer, won’t be going back again after this.

We get our weekly supply of meats from here and have done so for a long while now. They have an excellent range of meats, is always fresh and never had any problems. Staff are very friendly, provide good advice on how to best cook products which is very helpful. Store is always clean and tidy. Specials are genuine and represent good value for money when they are on. Would recommend this local business. Thanks everyone.

Three fantastic butchers were there when I visited to buy mince and a suggested marinated chicken to top my home made pizzas.
The pizzas turned out most yummy.
The toppings were from Frankie and the Grocer next door.
Their basic pizza bases are very good.
Bruce's is a good small business to support as is young Frankie's.

Carly was amazing and very helpful when asking questions on using a smoker to cook Wings/Ribs and Sausages! Would highly recommend them to everyone! Meat turned out fantastic!

This isn't your typical butcher. The team are friendly, love getting to know you and your family but most importantly they know their meats.

I highly recommend their steak, bacon and roast cuts. All are full of flavor and well worth the little bit extra you pay vs supermarket prices.
