Brighton Metro Hotel

The kids love it here since they can play and there are two rooms, though one room smells like the mop had dirty foot water and it was used to clean the floor, then the sun hits the room and it stinks. The food range is good, and is great for a group who can't agree on a cuisine. I would suggest this is a great place to meet for dinner if you like a kid friendly location.

Yummy pumpkin pizza and delish sweet potato fries. Drinks were a generous poor. Ordered and paid via the QR code app at the table. Fast service. Could not have been easier. Will be back.

Me (18) and my brother (20) were refused service because the bartender was clearly mentally challenged and didn’t see the resemblance in my brothers license photo. And even worse, there was a piece of plastic in my lemon chicken. Not impressed with the service or food

We came here for a birthday and I have to say the renovations look great. The venue is beautiful, and the booth we were in was lovely.
Unfortunately no staff said happy birthday on arrival. It took awhile to get in to the restaurant as a customer was fumbling with their card and holding up the line. This probably has us not at our table until almost 12 when our booking was 11 45. This wasn’t really too much of an issue until we were informed at 1245 we only had 30 min left before having to leave. I find this rude considering there was so many free tables and staff should have accommodated for that delay.
1.5 hours at the best of times isn’t long enough why isn’t it 2?
Bar staff were friendly, waitresses didn’t smile once. They actually looked rather unhappy being there.
Most of the food was good, chef was friendly and informative. A lot of dishes could use a bit of seasoning though. Also the mapo tofu, if you fried that a bit before putting in the sauce it would be so good.

Overall the experience was kind of ruined by the feeling of needing to rush and the lack of friendliness. Also the same waitress who ushered us along also asked us 20 min later if we were waiting for a table while waiting near bar on the way out. Kind of shows the girls really aren’t paying attention to their customers, just ushering them on to get more money from new customers. Definitely didn’t get our $42 each worth, how could we in an hour and 15.

Mid week lunch while on holidays and the food was a good temperature, great variety and very friendly staff. Really enjoyed the individual serves of dessert. The best part is trying small amounts of several things, then choosing the favourites.

My Darling took me there for lunch today.it was my 1st time. Fantastic place. Fantastic variety of food. Also great staff. Highly recommended to all. Chris

Went to your "competition" last week, for lunch, for my son's birthday. OMG it was awful & I wrote a scathing review! (This had been a "last chance" scenario for them).
So today, as an apology, I took my son to "Charlies Diner" & found it the opposite to "you know where".
WOW.what a difference". Easy parking. CLEAN, light & bright interior with a wonderful ambiance! Nice music & you can watch TV unobtrusively. The renovation was obviously well thought out, modern & sleek.
The staff were plentiful, helpful & happy, including your wonderful sous- chef! Even the other diners were friendly!
A wonderful variety of foods & selections within their groupings! Neither cold nor over-cooked, including the meats, cooked to perfection! The desserts OMG! What delectable selection including 4 ice-cream & 2 sorbet flavors.outstanding!
My only regret was, no cheese. But that was explained & accepted by me.
To conclude.you have NO competition as far as my family is concerned. Keep up the good work. We'll be seeing you again, very soon.

Looks great post renovations but left before ordering anything when I was told that one of the 20 screens in the sports bar couldn’t be changed to the NRL because they don’t have that Foxtel channel. Went down the road to another sports bar who had 3 screens in their sports bar and one of them was already playing the rugby. In 2023, don’t bother calling yourself a sports bar if you only play AFL and Cricket. I’ll be back if this changes because the menu looks promising.

Imagine a sports bar with only Fox sports 1,2 and 3. And that’s it. No league, no ESPN, no BeIN. Now imagine the audacity it took to call it a “Sports bar”.

Tayla did an exceptional job with the cocktails. When walking in Harrison was very delightful and friendly. Will be sure to come back

Went here with a friend recently. Both impressed with the variety of food. Some I wouldnt have again, but thats the beauty of the buffet, try a little 1st. Something to suit everyone. Priced etremely well for the variety. Staff friendly & helpful.

Mason can shake 3 cocktails at a time consider me impressed, great service give this man a raise

We came here to watch the World Cup final and were turned away along with other patrons. Even though they have a huge outdoor space, it wasn’t open and they said there was no room. When I called yesterday to ask if they would be showing the game they said yes and didn’t mention any capacity restrictions or needing to book.
