Brickworks Medical Centre reviews
49I've been waiting for an hour and a half. Still sitting in the waiting room. Unbelievable. Go somewhere else
It took forever just to book an appt. Rang them twice, the line was put on hold and had to wait more than 10mins but no answer.
Complete waste of time. 1.5 hour wait time for a 5 minute appointment. If I could put zero stars I would. What's the point of booking a specific time if you cannot see your patients/customers until an hour and a half later.
Always waiting and other people going through. Joke over an hour and nobody lets you know.
They should not operating unreasonable and rude my sinus infection is getting worst every single day nine months now without to be prescribed any of the first line threatments for a chronic condition that recently had made my wellness struggling the recommendations are go private no matter of you can they don't have the integrity at least to call the hospital to make an enquiry for the waiting list they promoting funeral and memorial services and yes pamphlets and they completely ignorant to help you just go to a private I been 4 years patient in this practice and never really complained just only recently when politics are been involved in health care with brickworks on the proof of means promoting political pamphlets with other healthcare pamphlets that's sick
Waited for 1.20 hours with booked appointment. And had to leave without seeing the doctor.
Very unprofessional clinic. Lazy time management which also reflects the quality of their service. Waited 2hrs past my appointment time without any communication of how long they'd be. Don't blame your patients for not booking the right appointment times, and don't blame the doctor shortages Dr Torpy. There's no excuse, manage your book properly, it's YOUR job to stay on time. Asked for full blood work vitamin and iron levels for my pregnancy and she ended up testing me for HIV and hepatitis instead. She didn't ask many questions about my health, but did ask me things she should know like what my closest pathology clinic is and told me she knows nothing about Flinders hospital when it comes to pregnancy, but to call a number instead. Not happy, do not recommend.
I recently had an appointment at Brickworks Medical Center and unfortunately had a negative experience with their receptionist. Despite the fact that the receptionist was a provisional employee, I found her to be rude and dishonest during my interaction with her. While I understand that new employees may still be learning the ropes, professionalism and courtesy should never be compromised. However, the rest of my experience at Brickworks Medical Center was positive, with the medical staff being friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I would recommend Brickworks Medical Center for their medical services, but I would also suggest that they address the behaviour of their receptionist (The Asian girl) to ensure that all patients are treated with the respect and care they deserve.
Doctors are good but unfortunately worst service as have to wait more than 2 hours from scheduled appointments every time I visit
Receptionist was extremely polite and helpful, Dr Shazia was also very nice, but the Rude old Doctor who gave a smart arse comment, when I asked the Receptionist a question is a piece of work. He wasnt even my doctor won't go back due to his attitude, even calling people out he says, "oh it is you is it? " After they stand up because he had to say it twice.
Unfortunately I can't give less than a 1.
We rang them to organise a telehealth appointment with Dr Cook (who apparently doesn't like to do telehealth because, why? He's 100 and doesn't move with the times?)
I have covid symptoms, 40 minutes after my appointment time I've called to reconfirm that my appointment is going ahead, the receptionist told me the doctor was running behind. That's fine.
An hour and a half later after waiting by the phone I called back to get their after-hours phone, which had been 'disconnected' by optus. So I can only assume they've straight up bumped my appointment off because I wasn't physically sitting there in person and gone home.
Next time I'll just be coming into the doctors office with my flu symptoms.
Not only do I not get paid for the hours I don't get a medical certificate for. But I haven't been able to get antibiotics to cure this chest infection which means more time off work.
If your doctor can't keep up, he should retire, and the administration staff should do a better job to support people trying to consider their health and safety as well as their other patients. Because being considerate seems less appealing now, thanks to your office.
This place was disgusting, the doctors office was messy and didn’t feel clean. Doctor Cook’s attitude was awful he was so rude to me and told me that I could only address one problem with him and told me he would complain to management about me when I told him that I had other issues to discuss. Do not go here. Save yourself the hour waiting and the joke of the staff.
Do not recommend had an app when I walked in only one in the place and still 1 hr wait. Yeah right. Lol joke but the receptionist was nice
Terrible service. Reception is rude, and the doctor who claims to be a mental health doctor told me that mental health wasn’t real and it was all in my head. Wouldn’t see her ever again
I am more than happy with the doctors and most of the reception have been a accommodating as possible so only the 2 stars due to the blatant rudeness of today's reception on arrival, hence I actually walked out and was quite emotional.this was one reason I was seeing the doc. No empathy at a time when needed.
Don't bother, went see doctor cook twice. Both times nearly an hour late and he won't take appointments over the phone.
Been on hold for over an hour now, went from position 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 and back to 2 now back to 1 and been waiting at position 1 for half hour.
Update. After waiting an hour and a half I hung up, this has got to be the single worst experience I have ever had with what are ment to be a professional health centre. The government should shut them down if they dont take peoples mental health seriously.
Save yourself 6 hours out of your day and go somewhere else. I’ve even started visiting practices where I need to pay a fee to avoid going here. Having to wait a silly amount of time is the norm here. Went to book a Tele phone consult and was advised that no matter what time I booked it for dr cook would call at the end of the day, if this is the case what is the point of booking? There is no respect from doctors here towards their patients, patients start taking it out on the reception ladies which it isn’t their fault… the doctors are terrible!
Love the doctors here but seriously reception staff are so rude and need to learn customer service as they have no idea
Very rude staff and so do the girl on reception.wait more then one hour for the booking time and when asking the reply so rude.
Should know what is customer service.
