Breakwater fish and chips

Great friendly service fish and chips were perfectly cooked and very well priced highly recommend

The food is always amazing at the Breakwater fish and chips, also cheaper than the others but the quality is still better.
They always make me the best veggie burgers, friends have had the burger with the lot which is massive and filling

Yes very nice inside and happy people. Friendly and service good. Only thing we didn't get our dim sims we ordered but that's ok. Nice time spent with a great friend

I have been here before it’s been a bit hit and miss in the past but this time the flake and chips were cooked perfectly nice and crispy and not greasy and it is really good value and you get a generous serve

Nice variety of seafood in the fisherman's basket too many chips. I think a lot of people see many chips as good value.they get wasted

The flake was cooked to perfection, tried the lamb yiros and prawn burger, they’re seriously good. Prices were a pleasant surprise. Will be back!

Had a really nice meal here today. Got the flake special and the chips and flake were fresh and tasty. Had an amazing deep fried mars bar.it was delicious

Great seaside place to get a feed while on the move or just sit back and ponder on your next move you will make, don't take too long procrastinating or your chips will go cold

Half the price of the other one. May not have the range, but I'd you just want basic fish and chips, you certainly get value for money.:)

Pretty ordinary fish and chips. $7 for battered Barramundi, Blue Grenadier and Flat Head etc, fish is cheap but soggy batter and dry chips.

Stopped on a whim. Phenomenal fried fish - crispy, hot, not greasy. Would definitely recommend!

Fish n chips here last week. THE BEST i have had in years. Hot, crispy, wrapped with precision and expertise to keep in the heat. A step back in time treat. Thank goodness I don't live close by.the weight gain!

Went in today wanting to order some lunch. I had just come from the beach and upon entry I was repeatedly told I need a face mask, where is your face mask. I said I didn’t have one on me, could they supply one, I was ignored. I asked to be served and again I was told you need a face mask, where is your mask. Again I said, I don’t have one on me, can you supply one. Again I was ignored. I asked can I order, you guessed it, I was told you need a face mask.
I’ve never felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable before, clearly they don’t want business or any tourists- you guys need to stop being so paranoid. Avoid this place.

Absolutely delicious food I can most definitely recommend the The Breakwater’s Beef club special burger delicious and definitely filling

Had lunch from there the other day. The fish was nice but the batter and the chips were soggy. It was ok but not great.

Best chips love this place the fish is great too popular during holidays wait can be 40 minutes but worth it if you like your fish and chips this is one of those traditional waterfront originals prices are very reasonable top quality fresh really good fair dinkum Aussie run by long time locals who take pride in their food large rang of fresh cooked seafood. 5 stars quality and value

Ordered a steak sandwich and fish sticks. Quick service and amazing tasty food. Would recommend only one other person inside.
