BP Tinman / PERRYS reviews
46Great little place to stop and grab a drink and a bite to eat. Friendly staff, clean premises and plenty of parking
Made a late phone call to stay and the friendly staff were very accommodating after booking dot com was indicating no availability. Food was great and the coffee amazing. Room was pretty average but beds were comfortable, rooms well lit, aircons worked well and showers welcoming. Morning view of the Flinders Ranges was lovely. Family room could do with some comfortable seating, cutlery, crockery & utensils and better block out blinds.
Rooms need some cleaning up
Shower was discussing
Was extremely noisy
Wouldn't recommend it for couples or families
Overall great place to be, food was great, customer service is incredible and right near pirie so it's lovely.
Great value and good food.helpful staff and clean units.we stayed for a night and had a good and tasty breakfast before leaving. Would certainly recommend it for a travel break.the highway has a bit of traffic noise during the night, but that's to be expected.after all it IS on the highway! Thanks for the stay - we enjoyed it!
Very very poor service I will never stop there again I’ll fuel up at Snowtown instead of stopping here 3 to 4 times a week
Not impress with them today. I generally get quick service but today with so many staff and no customers of all, i had to get a refund for chips coz the 8-10 minutes wait became forever and with still no chips despite me waiting for it. They offered an apology that they forgot!
Had a reno inside since my last visit here and that's been a few years.
Reno looks good now
Went as was recommended food was good, unfortunately not today, chiko rolls were dry as wood and had to throw away. Burgers with the lot were tasteless and no toasted bun.
A nice stop on the way. Having standard eateries. One of the special thing is they do have a small motel as well.
The blonde hair younger cooks food is amazing. She’s very kind most of the staff are i really recommend this place
They have many petrol.good quality.nice taste.little bit.some impolite employee though.i drinking from hojse and he ask what im dong and i kep sippng and munch and he go way.quite chep.photo is ME after sip (so strong)
Always stop here for food and petrol when heading to the West Coast of SA, sit down food is awesome, however the pre cooked food can be hit and miss.
Huge renovations done over the last 2 years but one thing has remained the same.service.
Staff are friendly with a great service.
On way to visit rellies in Whyalla, my neice and I stop at Perrys, Tin man Service Station near Port Pirie. On way up, and, on the way home. Best fruit salad bowl ever. Super clean, staff great.
Cannot thank the staff enough for their assistance there on Friday. I was travelling with a friend and he thought he had left his wallet on the counter. The ladies in the restaurant area reviewed the security footage from several angles to establish that he had in fact not left his wallet there. It was later found in the car. Thank you for all the staff for being so helpful and patient. We received excellent service all round. There was also a good range of food and other items at reasonable prices to suit the most fussy (and forgetful) traveller. Thank you ladies. Your employer should feel lucky to have you.
Great meal. Great service. Bought a water container and a coffee mug.
Try it.you'll be impressed
Large fuel station located on the A1 Augusta Highway just west of Port Pirie, South Australia.
It has bowsers for domestic vehicles as well as high flow bowsers for trucks.
It has a small restaurant as well as outside dining facilities.
There is also plenty of parking for trucks and articulated / long vehicles such as caravans.
Has public toilets as well as disabled toilets. Wheel chair friendly.
One of the best fuel & food stops, friendly staff, great food, when your heading north it's a great place for a break, oh and awesome coffee
