Deanna is the most empowering trainer I have ever worked with. She’s picked me up, out of a long standing funk and made me strong again, both physically and mentally.

With her supreme knowledge of the human body, she constantly delivers programs that work every single muscle in my body, while somehow putting a smile on my face.

Without a doubt, PT sessions with Dee are the highlight of my week. She’s also incredibly patient with my 2 year old who interrupts our sessions constantly. Thank you

Box it out has been one of the greatest fitness experiences I have had. When I first started it was because I wanted to go somewhere to start kick boxing that wasn’t daunting. After my first session I was hooked, I loved coming to the sessions where I was greeted by the passion, excitement and support of the lovely coaches. I learnt so much about kickboxing, techniques, fitness and myself through my time at Box it out and I am very grateful. Not only did I have a better relationship with myself and fitness but it inspired me to continue further into MMA and other avenues of fitness. 10/10 would recommend, especially as she has her own place now. Thanks Dee, you’re amazing!

I've worked with Dee / at Box it out for a good 6 or 7 years now.
There's a reason it's been so long. Outside of a lovely group of people that come along and train (of which there's many) there's also Dee's commitment to charity and making a positive impact on the world. I like working for someone that cares.

It’s a lovely little boutique kickboxing/boxing gym, and it helps that it’s situated quite near me, though I’d probably travel to work and train here.

The atmosphere fostered is inclusive and relaxed. Hard work gets done. Skills get learnt. The hope is that fun is had along the way. There's a balance of all three, with a bit of an ebb and flow.
Like a lot of things, the improvements you'll see are relative to the work put in, there’s no magic pill for health and fitness. The same can be said for gym’s (both boutique and large scale) in my opinion. The aim is to find an environment you feel comfortable in and couple that with a bit of consistency, the results tend to start flowing. In my opinion Box it Out is well worth considering for this.

In terms of my sessions, banter is (definitely) encouraged in my sessions, aiming for a healthy dose of kickboxing, strength and fitness without taking itself too seriously. We get stronger, improve movement, and then have fun using that movement to do cool stuff.

This is a place that I enjoy coming to both to train at other trainer's sessions, and instruct at my own.

Lovely atmosphere, felt motivated to be around such a supportive and friendly team all round. Deanne as an instructor will not let you down as she is very invested in reaching your potential and whatever your goals might be. The occasional social activities is also a bonus if you into that sort of thing!

I'd vaguely considered kickboxing before a friend invited me to try Box It Out with her. Years later here I am still, I love that it is not just your typical gym/gym class but a community. I'll admit I was hesitant about the cost as it is more than the mainstream gyms, but I have tried the big gyms but none have ever stuck because they are so impersonal. Of course the classes are great at Box it out, that's a given, but what I love most is that I'll go to classes even when I am exhausted and not at all motivated just because I want to catch up with everyone (and end up enjoying a great workout anyways). Deanna has created a great space which you won't find anywhere else.

Love this Gym! So welcoming and genuine. A great place to learn kickboxing and get a good workout while also having fun and a lot of laughs! Been going on and off for 3 years now and it really feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend giving them a try.

If you love boxing, you’ll love it here, great local gym, amazing workouts! The trainers are incredibly friendly and extremely qualified. They know how to push you to your limit in the best most safest way possible. The 45 minute training sessions go super fast and you really enjoy doing it, not to mention the scheduling of sessions suits my super busy lifestyle. Every session is new, so it is never predictable or boring. Such a relaxed, non-competitive, family vibe as soon as you walk in the doors, even my teenage son joins in – highly recommended to family & friends, you will not leave disappointed.

I started going to Box It Out to reignite my commitment to fitness and strengthening my body, particularly after having a child. Deanna is so welcoming and takes time to really help all of her clients feel comfortable.

I had never done boxing before this so it was reassuring to have a trainer who was so focused on teaching all the necessary movements and tips to get into it and progress easily.

I also find it difficult to attend classes because of having children and Deanna was so open to have my daughter in the classes, even offering her some gloves to jump in and have a go!

I cannot recommend this business enough. If you are looking for a place to feel safe while getting back into a fitness and health lifestyle regime, this is your place!

We are very happy we found Box it out! My son was keen to keep boxing but without the sparring. We tried a few places for fitness and came across this gym. The instructors are excellent and my technique is improving. Have found that kickboxing and boxing with the bags are a great way to stay fit and incorporate some cardio! Highly recommend.

Let me just start out by saying this is no typical kickboxing gym! It’s a community, a place to feel comfortable while you become a better version of yourself no matter what your level of fitness is. I tried a different place before I tried Box It Out and honestly I’m so glad I found D and the team because you actually get personal guidance, it’s not just a big loud intimidating gym. Everyone is so welcoming and inclusive. If you want to get fit, have fun and support an amazing local community and business, come and check this place out! You will not regret it!

Box It Out - for anyone who wants to learn new skills and build personal confidence and strength (and yes also get fit) whilst connected and surrounded by a supportive and passionate kickboxing community.

I had been wanting to try boxing for years, but couldn't find anything around me that felt welcoming or that I could get to around work and family/kids sport commitments. Then Deanna opened Box It Out around the corner and her studio exceeded all of my expectations.

I love that I can pick and choose from a variety of times over 6 days when I go, knowing that each and every Box It Out session will be as challenging as I want it to be. Deanna and her team can (and do) tailor the sessions to support those who are new or who have injuries, or to create added challenge for those who want to stretch their capacity just that little more each time.

The variety of each session, built upon a monthly focus area is brilliant. You get to work all areas of your body, but rather than the repetitive motions you might expect in a regular gym. Deanna and the Box It Out team make sure that every session uses a variety of different techniques to get your heart rate up and your body moving. Knowing you will be positively challenged, but not knowing what you will be challenged with is a great drawcard - there is no scope for getting bored or feeling like the classes are repetitive.

One of the things I love best is the Box It Out community that Deanna has created. Founded on her passion for health and wellbeing and her absolute love of what she is doing, she finds ways to connect and inspire everyone who comes to her kickboxing gym whilst also keeping the exercise and muscle burn fun. Deanna even made training for, and completing, the True Grit challenge enjoyable!

Who knew punching a bag could be so fun (and tiring)!

Box It Out has changed my life! A fun and stress free environment, with a welcoming team and knowledgeable trainers. It has 100% helped my health, both physical and mental. Which has lead to losing those kilos! The support I have been given has been so valuable. I feel so much more capable to reach my goals now and it's so nice to have someone who cares in my corner. There's no other group fitness class like this. I highly recommend.

I have been a member of Box It Out for almost a year now and I love it. It is a fun way to get in your exercise or just to let your frustrations out after a tough day. I look forward to each class & always feel great after.

I get a lot of people like it but me not so much. I don't like that it's not really a gym but outdoor classes. That is not my style sorry. You might enjoy it but it's not for everyone. I wish I could give a positive review but I can't it's just a personal opinion.

Box it out is the best. I was never much into gyms or specific fitness, but this has everything I didn't realise I wanted and needed. There's intense workouts that are also fun with a laid back attitude. As well as learning boxing skills, better form with exercises and stretches. Even some nutritional and wellbeing tips. Got it all! Recommend to just about anyone and everyone. Deanna accomdates to everyone that's willing.

I always feel so much better after a session at Box it out. After a hard day there no better place to relieve stress, have a laugh, have loads of fun and feel mentally and physically healthier all in 1 hour. Great group of people, dynamic and fun workouts in a relaxed environment and trainers that will push your limits and help you reach your fitness goals! Highly recommended:)

My job involves shift work so I have always found it difficult to get into an exercise routine that I can actually stick to. Box it Out has been so good for me because there are classes on almost every week night and even one on Saturday mornings. I am able to attend the classes around my work and staying with the routine is easy because I’m excited when I can go to the classes. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, the social aspect almost helps you forget that you’re exercising! Thanks for making working out fun Deanna and all of the Box it Out team
