Bowden Brewing reviews
21Good food, great beer, lovely staff! Rotating taps are interesting and fun without being too out there and putting me off. Purple Yeet is an institution. Tacos are tasty, and occasionally messy, but if you don't need a spoon to finish your taco what's the point anyways?
Great vibe, excellent staff, nice beers.
Haven't tried any food yet but enjoyed the beers. The only reason I'm not awarding five stars is that they don't offer any beer paddles for tasting. Highly recommended.
First time here, very disappointed after reading so many good reviews and thought we'd call in a we had a voucher to use. A huge queue to the only bar which accepts vouchers, 25 minutes waiting due to only 2 people on the busiest bar in the place! Plus, that bar is the only one which serves all the beers
You'd think they'd pull staff from quieter bars to help serve and reduce the queue. Nobody around to assist the staff on the busiest bar. We walked out after 45 minutes due to not getting served. Very poor experience.
Have been before and had a great time. But last night we were all having a great night up until we were rudely told to get out at closing time. Understand staff need to clean/close but give customers the chance to finish their final drinks. We heard no final call or even a hey we’re closing in 10 minutes etc so had a couple people finishing their last drink to be met by an extremely rude staff member telling us we’re closed leave. Bar staff were great though, but probably won’t be back
Firstly, I want to give a big shout out to the beautiful ladies at the bar, Claire and Ella. They were sooo very nice and friendly. Amazing ladies!
I had the Beef Brisket Nachos which was yummy. It was huge.have to be shared.
Started with the Head in the Clouds brew.fruity.similar to James Boags 150 lashes.was planning to end the dinner with the Sleepy Time brew so I asked Claire for help to pick which brew to have before Sleepy Time.she suggested 2 brews.one which was similar to Head in the Clouds but a bit stronger and Battle Ducks brew which is biscuity so it's nearer Sleepy Time brew which is Dark Chocolate and Lavender.chose Battle Ducks.thanks heaps, Claire!
Only had the butcher size for the 3 brews so I wouldn't get drunk.
Amazing brews.very friendly staff.great food.
I visited here tonight and had a wonderful experience, the food was great, they have a good selection of beer (im not much of a beer drinker). The staff were very helpful with choosing what to drink. Above all was the excellent service by staff. I definitely recommend visiting here
Small food menu that was extremely expensive, all nachos sold out by 7: 15pm. Bar staff were short, rude and sarcastic. Not for me.
This is a great place to meet, chill and relax, great atmosphere, beers are to everyone’s taste, had a paddle to try from a good range of brews, meals look real nice too, staff friendly and knowledgeable of each beer, we shall return
I recently visited Bowden Brewing and had an amazing time! The atmosphere was so inviting, with a great mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Their selection of craft beers was impressive, each one bursting with unique flavors. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making recommendations based on my preferences. The food offerings were also delicious and perfectly complemented the drinks. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for a chill spot to hang out with friends, Bowden Brewing is definitely worth a visit!
Great variety of beers with cool label designs and tasty food. Plant3 location is ideal as well.
Plant 3 & 4 near the tram stop at the Entertainment centre houses a collection of nice eateries.and drinkeries. The Brewery serves a variety of craft-styled beers perfect for wasting an afternoon. Take a couple of hours and a board game, and/or a couple of mates and give it a whirl. Good stuff.
Just stopped in for a quick brewski, need to go back and spend some quality time exploring more of their beers & good looking food on offer.
Small but cosy vibe, upstairs area and situated amongst the bustling Bowden Plant 4 precint.
Take away singles + cases
See you again soon & this time it will also be to try the food
Awesome space with the loveliest staff. Beer is great and those tacos are heavenly! Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
Came here on Easter Sunday for lunch and beers. Good lawd. Everything we tried in terms of beers was to style but adventurous and fun and tasty as all heck. Enjoyed the corn chips and fried mussels from the kitchen for some light eats - zesty, fresh and flavoursome. Best Adelaide brewery I’ve been to to date.
The beers banging! We tried their lagers, sours, ipas and dark beers and all were top notch. This is a brewery influenced by the American craft beer scene and they do it very well. The kitchen was fast and served up some delicious Mexican inspired food.
Highly recommend! One of Adelaide's best.
Great little brewery part of the Plant 3 building. Strong range of beer at the bottom bar, with a smaller bar upstairs for the usual choices. Great atmosphere and facilities, plenty of other food options nearby.
Highly recommend visiting here if you are in and around Bowden.
Great beer and atmosphere. A nice little place to relax with some cold ones.
The beer here is really good and great selection. Great food and a really cool spot.
Great range of beers, great location and good food. Expect the place to be busy but it's worth the wait.
Good beers. Delicious draught on a 40°C day.
Poor food options, quality, and prices. Stringy oily slop lamb shank taco, foul fish taco relish.
Drop $50 on ordinary nosh? Nup.
Looking for an expensive but nice beer? Nip in.
Food? Elsewhere. With haste. It’s a hard yeah nah from the crew.
Usually really love this place but the New Years Eve event was a bit of a poor effort for a ticketed event…
