Botanic Chickens

We just purchased chicken from Botanic. We used to always purchase chicken from here, despite the price being way more than the supermarkets.
Got the chicken home and it was so salty it was completely inedible and went straight into the bin. I won’t be going back

These hot chips are honestly the best thing on earth. Every single time i have these chips i start to think have i gone to heaven because they are so delicious

Honestly the best hot chips in Adelaide could eat them non stop and wouldn't get tired of them. Only downside is the 5 to 6 dollar price increase. Employees on the hot chips need a pay rise

The bag of chips we received was 1 third empty, and not a decent sized bag to begin with. The chicken was so salty it was barely edible, it was very dry and so salty it burned. Pretty poor form, won't be going back.

Great chip shop I've been going to since 1997. I've seen it change ownership a few times, and atm, it's among some of the best. Friendly staff, the quality of food is great and easily best chip shop in the area.

$11.50 for a stale burger bun, with some chicken that less than half fills the burger, a single slice of tomato and some lettuce. I’ve lived in this area for 20 years and this is the last time I go here.

When it gets even a little bit busy, service is atrocious. We called ahead to place an order, 2 chicken schnitzel packs, that's it. Was told would be ready in 15 minutes, so arrived 12 minutes later, and proceeded to sit, waiting for another 30 minutes. Multiple people came in after me and ordered, not phone call aheads, and they received their food before I received mine. Again, all I ordered was a chicken schnitzel pack. Food isn't nice enough to offset the poor service unfortunately

Always fresh range of salads fish and award winning chips, chicken, great customer service

Delicious dim sims, yummy chips! And followed order notes for mayo on the side will order again.

Worth of money, reason for 4 star because new owner changed the receipt of seafood salad.otherwise, the food is great

Disgusting customer service, team members wouldn’t seperate my meat and chips to prevent chips going soggy (as it was a long trek home) tried charging me $6 for a paper bag? Just lost a customer who’s spent thousands over the years. Ridiculous

I went there 2 days ago for 1/4 chicken and chips (1155am) and the chicken was yesterday's Chicken '' hard and warm " and definitely not fresh (they tried to hid it by putting gravy) on it confirmed be my son who is a chef, Rubbish.

Great take away food. But didn't get what I asked for with having the sauce on the side and not on the meal. Friendly staff. Need to be more careful with orders and what a customer asks for in how they would like there meal.

I get my chicken from here and it is great can’t say enough about that.
I should have stuck too the fact it is a good chicken shop.

Soggy sloppy tasteless mess
I thru it in the bin the meat paddy had that thawed out taste.
Such a let down.

We love Botanic Chickens. Good chips and good menu with lots of options. Only negative I’d say was we had a hot dog recently and it was pretty “meh”. Other than that we’ve never had a bad experience.

We had yiros. Quite ok but a bit disappointing.
Nowhere near as good as Yiros Brothers were.

We place used love this place, but unfortunately it seems to have gone down hill. The chips aren't as nice as they used to be.

Have lived in Blackwood for 40 years and used to enjoy visiting this foodery.
Changed hands many times to the detriment of the shop.
Yesterday asked for a plain hamburger, was given an $8 burger with one tiny piece of tomato, mountains of lettuce and a drizzle of sauce, disgusting! Aren’t onions included in a plain burger, DONT THINK SO!
Go back and complain? Can’t be bothered, my absence will be the message. Two other shops in Blackwood I will go to, one in Foodland complex will do.

Sadly the worst Yiros we've ever had! Asked for only a small amount of garlic sauce. Got home to find it contained only lamb which was almost minced, lettuce, 1 slice tomato. Flooded with garlic sauce! What happened to onion? Total waste of $28.00 went in bin!

The last month I've really noticed a decline in the taste of the chips. Been served stale chips a few times too. Really unfortunate. These guys used to do really good chips
