Bos Taurus Butchery reviews
8I’ve recently visited these guys and i will be more often! When you walk up to the place you know they provide what they offer, all real, good cuts, good meats, treated well before we buy it.saw someone whine-ing about the cost.pffftt please i’m on a tight budget and i bought the same thing from the foodland across from it, came with less and the quality was awful compared to this shop.will definitely spend/save coming to these guys! And the crew, so nice even when busy, i’ll be there after this lot!
Annoyed by staff member who tried to tell me trimming the silverskin from beef cheeks wasnt needed. Obviously it wasnt something he cared to do! Now I have 10 beef cheeks that require work.will think twice about purchasing from there again.when i buy meat from the butcher, rather than the supermarket, I expect more. In fact the beef cheeks at the supermarket were properly trimmed, not as nice and plump sure but you take the point.
I live in Sydney, but shopped at Foodland Norwood the other day. I decided to buy my meat from this butcher on the way out. Among other things, I purchased 6 sausages. I think they were called Godfather, or similar. They looked nice. But I was wrong, they were friggn awesome. I cooked them tonight on a wood fire. Simply the best sausages I have eaten here in Australia (I’ve eaten some great sausages in Europe). I live in Sydney, but if I lived in Adelaide, I would be buying everything from this place.
Let down by one employee who won’t listen to simple requests from customers (such as, can I have two steaks of similar size and sprouts “they’re all the same” when they are clearly not.
Great free range bacon, ham, and chicken. About to try their steak and lamb chops which look delicious. Staff are friendly and efficient.
One of Adelaides best butchers. A1 quality. Great service. Great specials. Aged meat cabinet. I keep going back.
Bought a couple of steaks to try them out and went back the next day and bought a lamb shoulder to slow cook. Great quality meat and good value. Family business and well done to the lads, it's my go to now
