Booleroo Steam & Traction Preservation Society reviews
13 When I arrived at the Booleroo Centre Steam and Traction, I could not believe my eyes, WOW, they say you eat with your eyes, in this case what a smorgasbord of machinery.
The display was magnificent. We, my partner, her grandson, and I had a GREAT day.
Thumbs up for the organisers
Amazing first time experience and extreamly friendly town. I felt very welcomed. So much to see
A rare museum at Booleroo Steam and Traction exhibition
We were greeted at the door by a volu teer who was happy to take us around explaining the history of some very old machinery. It was very helpful and to understand the workings of the tractors and implements used on farms about the turn of the century
Thank you to the volunteer who made us so welcome keep up the good work
Great place to visit if you're into steam and traction engines, plus tractors and stationary engines and big generators. Etc. The guide gave a fantastic talk about the various displays that even interested the ladies present. We were there an 1.5 hours and would have stayed longer.
Why the hell would you need to be double jabbed to attend an outdoor event?
Derisive and segregation at its best.
Shame on you!
The 2022 rally was a great day out. Static and working displays kept us amused and the trading tables had a range of items for sale.
Thumbs up to the canteen staff.the steak sangas were awesome.
An event worthy of a visit.
Was great to come back to my home town an see that Booleroo is still a very friendly place an that people are still preserving the old mechanics that help build are country good on you Booleroo steam & traction
What a collection. Wish I was there when everything was up and running. Great to wander around the great machines of yesteryear. Make sure it is open before visiting.
A Great "now annual" event and a chance to experience how our "forbears" tamed the land; with an Oval Parade of working tractors, trucks, steam driven engines & Traction machines. Many static displays of shedded Machinery & stationary engines of all shapes & sizes too. "No need to bring food or drink as it's all available on site".
If your thing is steam and the preservation of olde worlde vehicles and machines that run on steam power this is the place for you. One weekend per year open day festival but if you live local and want to get your hands dirty you'll be welcomed with open arms.
I love having time up there a very interesting lot of things to see especially the steam engines at work. The steam sewing machine really had me blown away
For people who have worked with machinery, esp older machinery this is wonderful day out. Steam engines, vintage tractors &trucks all in working condition.
Well worth the trip, plenty of stationery engines on display with some big diesel’s that are very interesting. Will definitely come back next year.
