Dined in for lunch, staff are very polite, I had a snitzel and chips and It was delightful I'd highly recommend stopping in if you're on your way through Birdwood.

The Blumberg Hotel is such a nice relaxed older pub.

The customer service is A+ with that country town friendly vibe.

The food ordered was absolutely delicious with no complaints, the chef did an awesome job and can tell he takes pride in his cooking and it's all very reasonably priced.

You'll have no regrets visiting here!

Came here for dinner. Was a great atmosphere and greeted as soon as we entered. The food was good - the burger patty needed to be mixed through more as there was big patches of spices and for me too over powering. Overall a good experience.

I had lunch here a few weeks ago with a small group of friends and it was OK. My meal was expensive and not that nice, one of my friends had schnitzel which he loved, I liked the art work on the walls in the dinning room.

Looove these people. My new Haunt. Sometimes Jaxy and I will be down for Saturday jam sessions! Keen to see yas there!

You can always get a good indication of character judging by a business owners responses to negative reviews.

From contradictory responses like we don’t honour the food vouchers because we never agreed to be on it. To, on another negative review about vouchers, we didn’t honour it because we couldn’t get in touch with them.

Then there’s the comment about a bloke waiting to get a drink and the owners suggestion is that he book, for a drink!

Then there’s the aggressive customer who supposedly had a go at the chef. After being served tequila shots and jacks.irresponsible service of alcohol can sometimes bring such behaviour on.

You simply can’t make this stuff up. Maybe get someone who’s reasonable and not angry about their lot in life to write your replies to negative reviews.

Fairly good pub food. Portions are not big though considering the cost. Customer service was good. Easy parking at the back.

Couldnt get anything to eat except bags of chips outside meal times.need allday dining weekends or at least wedges pizzas etc.would of been nice to sit longer if we had food to go with our drinks

Great tasting food, fair prices. Would've been happier seated outside instead of in the small room with strangers (family of 6) next time I will ask to be seated outside. I dined here today for lunch. Excellent, attentive service from the staff. Catered well for gluten free and dairy free dietary requirements. Modifications for dietary requirements were made by substitution as opposed to some businesses where items would have just been removed from the meal. Staff were knowledgeable about the meals. Tasty meals and generous servings. Reasonable prices for the meals. I would highly recommend this hotel for meals.

My wife and I had lunch here on Wednesday. Food was excellent, large serves, and very reasonably priced compared to other pubs. Staff were very friendly. My wife recommends the Blumberg Rose. Don't be put off by the tired interior, it is well worth a visit.

Went tonight and was running late and got in around 7: 45 near the end of service. We got the best service and ordered a fish and chips. It was excellent, especially liked how big it was. Will definitely come back again

Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Dining room filled up during the night - it's a popular local hotel. Meals are substantial and yummy. Really enjoyed our evening.

They have nice pub food with a great selection of sauces for their schnitzels. The serves are huge and the chips are really good. There are two dining rooms as well as outdoor seating so plenty of tables but still worth booking ahead. The decor is rather dated, but there are nice car related touches, including a full sized beer cart on the front, since they are so close to the National Motor Museum.

A quick dinner. Food was nice. Both schnitzels, chicken and beef were tender and large.

Pub mid week lunch food. Resonable menu. Service very slow with staff appearing more interested in preparing for the evening/night.

We briefly visited birdswood and decided to have a counter meal at the local "Blumgberg Hotel". We both ordered chicken schnitzels, one with garlic sauce, the other with seafood topping. The "reef" topping did not disappoint! Great value for money at $6 and was cooked wonderfully. Nice little pub to stop in at.
