I stayed in the cottage for a few nights. The cottage was great. Rustic in style and relaxing. Great spot as well

We stayed here for 3 nights, it is the most beautiful, comfortable and relaxing place, filled with so much history and wonder, right on the edge of the Flinders Ranges, The loft apartment is truly a thing to behold, there are two other options available at Blueys, that had guests in also, but it felt like we had the whole main building to ourselves (communal kitchen and eating areas), open fire place and pits in the gardens. Lydia and Luke are amazing hosts and dropped everything to give us a tour and history of the place on arrival. AMAZING

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Bluey's. The location is excellent - central and close to coffee shops and the National Park. The Loft was very spacious and comfortable (more so than the website photos indicate). The communal kitchen is well resourced. The communal dining room very cosy with an open fire. Split level heating in the Loft lounge and master bedroom was very good for chilly nights. The Blacksmiths shop adjacent to The Loft, and the property it self, has an amazing history. We were lucky enough to have a guided tour! The outstanding feature is the support and customer service from hosts Lydia and Luke, prior to and during our stay. Many, many thanks. Lindsay & Marie

Lydia and Luke are wonderful hosts. Gave us a personal tour of the full premises. Have stayed in The Barn twice now and will be back in the future. Highly recommended

Woweee what a stay! Clean, comfortable, affordable accommodation with loads of character. We stayed in the loft with 2 kids downstairs. Perfect. The shower in the bay window was a highlight. Kids loved the electric blankets. Also checked out the barn and cottage as well. Would be ideal to take a few couples etc.
Location was perfect. We checked out other spots while we visited and were so glad we chose the best! The hosts were obliging and lovely. Views of Mt Remarkable were delightful. Oval and museum across the road ($14 for a family well spent and a pleasant surprise) and all the pubs and shops within a minutes walk. Nice gift shop open fri-sun. Both pubs had good meals and convenience shop/ petrol station has everything you need plus more.
Facilities were great. Lovely fireplace inside where we played board games and outside around the fire pit listening to music. Generous supply of wood. Kitchen was excellently appointed and the bbq outside worked a treat.
Necessities such as oil, salt, pepper, coffee machine with pods, tea, some milk etc made it easy to settle in.
Make sure you do Alligator Gorge, even if it's the shorter walk. Incredible scenery. Some gorgeous walks around the mount too.

We stayed in the cottage, which has beautiful rustic charm and clean and comfortable. It has a bath, shower and two toilets with one queen size bed. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. They were kind enough to show us the other two accommodation choices as they were cleaning, and the loft and the barn look great too! All the places have a kettle and fridge, with shared use of the full kitchen, BBQ and beautiful dining areas. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the 'Cottage' for a weekend in May. We found the Cottage to be very comfortable, quiet, clean and with a gorgeous deep bath. The shared kitchen and lounge facilities were well appointed and the Blacksmiths area was amazing. Lisa was a fantastic host.

Thanks for the cosy accomodation in Melrose! Great spot between Adelaide and the Flinders Ranges. We stayed first night, drove to Wilpena Pound and around Southern Flinders the next day, then stayed another night before returning to Adelaide. Had time for short walks in Melrose and at Mt Remarkable. Beautiful fine, clear days.
