Blue Seas Motel reviews
37Sara at Blue Seas was a life saver! Upon my car breaking down, and being stuck in PL as a result, got me into a warm cosy room after my vehicle hardships. Nothing but A1 service and lovely place to rest up. I truly recommend staying here!
Firstly, we needed to phone for help getting our key, but the guy was most helpful. The room was very good, although there was two things we could comment on. The vertical blind over the door was missing a few strips, therefore letting the light from an outside light shine in. The other unfortunate thing, some foolish person had left a hot iron on the carpet- leaving a very noticable scorch mark. Other than that, the room was very comfortable. The bed nice % firm, & oh truly, the pillow was just great! The water in the shower was -oh so good, though it did feel a bit wasteful waiting for it to turn hot.
We didnt mind being near the staircase to upper floors, they werent that noisy. Parking at the front was easy, & convenient
Avoid! Unable to put no stars!
We travelled from Adelaide after booking with Expedia.
We were allocated room one.no view, very dated with tatty decor. Outside space a table and chair in front of parked car.
Absolutely nothing like the advertised photo's! Left straight away so didn't stay.too grubby everywhere. After taking photos We went straight to port Lincoln Hotel.who incidently said other travellers do the same!
We are still trying to get a refund.months later.
The manager said as we paid for 4 nights via Expedia he won't refund us.
Just Avoid altogether unless you want to stay in tatty, dirty accommodation that looks nothing like the advertised photographs.
Key delivered in a dispenser so did not see anyone ehen we were there. Older motel but quiet and convenient.
Location was great, key system is very easy and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be some curtains that shut out the light a bit more. Over all quite decent value
Nice and clean room, but not happy with the room service ladies. Why would you knock so loud on my door at 9am even before check out time? That was not courteous.
Fantastic budget motel in a much underrated town. It was, as seems usual with Australian motels, all a bit anonymous (automatic check-in, key dispenser etc.), but for the price this is an excellent place to stay. Spacious, clean, cozy, quiet, and with easy access to the town centre and the foreshore/seafront. To top it off, the motel has a balcony with wonderful panoramic sea views. Enjoyed my stay very much and wish I could have stayed longer than just for three nights.
Beautifully clean, all essentials provided, great view and super comfy bed. Even though the exterior is dated, the interior has been beautifully renovated to be a most pleasant place to return to after a day exploring. Value for money + I will definitely return here next time I am in Port Lincoln. Thank you Blue Seas Motel!
Nice large rooms with a great view of the harbour. The downside, it is on three levels with stairs. Little privacy with the bathroom. A/C didn't work, which was bad news on a cold wet day with no heat. Parking is tight and limited, you may have to park on the road side.
The staff are fantastic the hot water system is the best I seen the best location you can't go wrong
We agree with Jodie Williams. We spent NYE and loved the bay view. The place is dated but clean comfy and where else do you get a private toilet not combined in ensuite? We found the beds very comfortable and the fireworks and aerial acrobatics from the viewing deck was a nice plus from Pt Lincoln. Yes please replace with blockout curtains as light outside is bright, but we found the beds to be comfy. Friendly helpful service, we will return.
Great Little Motel! Clean and Tidy, inside and out! Cozy, Comfort feel! And what a SPECTACULAR view!
Good views from front rooms of Pt Lincoln harbour and the flashier Pt Lincoln Hotel. Good size rooms with free wi-fi. Quaint BBQ area out back. Not much parking is the only real let down.
There is 3 levels with stairs! Be careful if you have injury and this is an issue, or only travelling with big heavy luggage. Very outdated, looks and feels a bit sleezy.
Clean, no fuss, easy location.
We spent 3 nights here. Our room was very clean and well maintained. Even the kettles are cleaned and descaled!
The fully automated key box system was brilliant. We arrived quite late on a Friday night and left before sunrise on the Monday, so the key box was a great, no-fuss way of doing things.
While the hotel is nothing much to look at, with no frills or extras, it is a clean bed to sleep in, and a hot shower to start your day of exploring. We were out from dawn until after dinner everyday, so the basics was all we required.
Perfect, no frills place to stay.
Pleasantly surprised! Room was great! Spacious, very neat and clean. Great price and lovely view of the bay. Would definitely stay there again.
Even though the place is dated, it is beautifully clean. The only problem was the bed was too soft, we kept rolling into the middle of the bed and I woke up with a sore back. There also needs to be better window curtains, as the light outside was very bright, and hard to sleep.
Beautiful location, wonderfully clean, lovely staff. I would come back again if these two things were changed.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DO NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!
After a week's stay it was very hard to leave. The generosity, hospitality, kindness shown my Michael, Leanora, and Lek from time of check in to ckeck out was immeasurable. Michael and staff are not only testament to the business, but Port Lincoln of a whole. The breakfasts are an awesome stunning way to start the day and arrive hot to your door on time. I felt more like a family member rather than a guest, which in my 15 yrs of travelling find this calibre rare and non existent.
To Michael and team, thank you so very very much for making me feel at home, and rest assured I will be back in Port Lincoln again, and will be staying again at the Blue Seas Motel.
Walking distance to absolutely everything, so if your after character in Port Lincoln, look no further
The male manager was at our door at 8.30am. Saying I'm waiting for people to start checking out.plus he likes to drink alcohol whilst still working.we had a problem with our TV. He used the f word a few times. And reapeatly said oh sorry for that. Not a way to talk in front of their customers.he made it feel like we broke the TV.the room was OK for the money
This motel was totally booked when I arrived in town.but the owner went out of his way to help direct me to an other motel.thanks for your help.
