Blue and White Cafe reviews
44 Yiros is good, but very disappointing when the shop states open time is 11am and they never open until 11: 30
Been there 4 times in the last 2 weeks and have been let down every time
Love the chips, so yummy. We were pleasantly surprised with our meals & enjoyed, so fresh & not greasy. The premises were clean & tidy. Would recommend a visit.
Fabulous service, lots of care taken into meals. Staff are friendly and provide outstanding service. Food is always fresh and delicious, highly recommend.
Just had the Combo AB, loved it, the best I have had. The lady on the phone was very nice. Thankyou
An absolute icon on O’Connell Street and a must visit for anyone! Second to none… Along with the generous serves, delicious AB packs and awesome atmosphere, the service was absolutely top notch too! Made to feel like family! Can’t recommend this place enough.
We recently visited a cafe in Norwood and the owner said we needed to try their AB.
An AB is a chip pack with meat and sauces. OH WOW it was great.
Thank you to the boys for making this for me.
These guys are amazing. Family owned for decades, always a clean kitchen with delicious food. The guys will always have a chat, and if you're an NBA fan you can expect some good banter.
Great to have as a local. There really is no reason to try anywhere else when Blue and White have fish, chips, burgers, yiros and of course, the mighty AB.
As always the food was wonderful I have yet to have a bad experience there and doubt I ever will
Had a couple of decent yiros but not this time. Bread was hard and the meat was cooked beyoooond. $44 for 2 yiros and chips, def not worth it.
Excellent, all various types of food, eg Hamburgers, Fish and Chips, all top quality at good prices. Seating outside undercover, they even bought out food, loved it.
Now these boys know how to make some good fish and chips. Throw in a salad, some excellent gravy and you have a wonderful meal. Open till late, well priced. Try the garfish.yum! Seats inside and on the footpath. Thanks fellas for a very enjoyable meal.
Got a burger, steak burger and fish from here with my partner, wasn't overly bad while eating other than burger meat was really mincy but ended up both feeling crook, no bwano.
If i could give no star score i would, what a dump, went last night about 10pm, yiros was small, pita bread was cold and cost $16.really poor effort, a rip of.
Awesome chips cheese & gravy, next level yiros and top notch customer service. Can’t wait to order again and highly recommend!
Love these cafes on Oconnel St. YIROS with tabouli and falafel (and hot chips) perfect for Sunday night. Always open. No fuss. Good old fashioned food.
Decent size pieces of fish. Tasty salads. Can dine in as well with food served on a platter. Friendly staff and clean. Great service
Tried North Adelaide burger bar (cant even call them 'competition' to Blue and White). If there is in fact an ongoing competition between the two for who has better/original food, Blue and White wins hands down.
Blue and White - Food extremely nice, the wrap itself had a beautiful texture, lettuce, tomatoes and onion very fresh and meat was cooked perfectly without being over cooked and salty. Price was about average compared to most placed but well worth this amount.
Highly recommended, will return multiple times. Well done!
(And they dont charge a 50c surcharge)
Lamb is dry and tough on the “AB” had food delivered with a 1.25L coke smashed on top of the box which made dinner cold.
Won’t bother again
An old favourite, I always make a point of going here whenever I visit Adelaide. The lamb yiros is a great choice.
