It's been a while since I've been to Blanchtown Caravan Park but I really enjoyed it. Located directly on the banks of the Murray River, in a beautifully quiet location surrounded by nature. Surrounded by a river, a pond and lots of forest, it is not too big but well laid out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are enough places for trailers and simple tent sites. There are also many long-term fighters there who also like it because it is a good place for fishing. The place is clean and tidy. As usual, the toilets and showers were always clean and it was only a 3-minute drive to the center of Blanchtown.
You can also rent boats and boards for water sports enthusiasts. The prices are absolutely ok. Small but nice.

Hi I've previously lived in SA stayed in blanchetown with a mate, and got stuck in NSW when covid shut boarders now they open came back to collect my gear but mates not home tryed ringing 3 times TO BOOK IN, left message and still had no reply or phone call back and they say on recording YOUR CALL IS IMPORTANT TO US, WELL GET BACK TO YOU, can't want much business how many others tryed calling aswell to book in

Awesome stay for a couple nights. We camped on the lake, ate their food, drank their coffee, had brief and friendly interactions with a few people. Really appreciated the owner coming to check if we needed anything more.

Caught live bait, used it to make the fish laugh at us. Ended up throwing corn at ducks but they were cute.

Showers were hot.
Very dog and small misc other pet friendly. We brought 2 dogs and a cat with us because we had travelled by car from NSW.
They were very careful about making sure we were vaxed and tested, they're very considerate to everyones safety and peaceful enjoyment.

Thanks for a really nice time.please note after puppy had fun with toilet roll we picked it up.

Tempted to do a week long stay but if we did that we would never ever leave.

Stopped here for the night seems a great place we arrived just on lockup time but they opened up to let us stay we can't say much about telstra service seems it's letting the owner down bad for a week or so.

Sitting by the fire on a cool winter night, listening and watching the wild life (possums) relaxing and having a quiet chat with friends. An awesome park and highly recommend.

Horrible place to stay this easter weekend 2021.people in the middle of the park very loud yelling and carrying on drunk.its a pity the owners dont tell them to be quiet because ppl in the van park always seem to complain about the shacks behind them. Its seems rules good for one and not the others.

Great place, amazing people, amazing prices.
But do need to get rid of the spiders in the common kitchen area

Nice location near the river. The kids enjoyed the pool and the jumpy pillow. The owners were always very helpful and we enjoyed our stay

Very good caravan park absolutely loved the big jumping pillow people were nice but I loved the pug dog the most the pug dog was so nice to have fun with.

Gr8 spot. Brilliant staff. Looked after us very well. Staff cooked a Fathers day breaky for us, yep! No charge! Small but great spot

We love staying in this caravan park situated in such a beautiful part of the world, right next to the magnificent Murray River.
The owners always find the time to stop for a chat or a piece of advice, it was always a pleasure to talk to them, they really do their best to ensure their guests feel comfortable and welcome.
They spend a lot of time and money on cleaning, tidying up and also on all kind of upgrades, such as the awesome undercover inflatable trampoline which we all loved and spend quite some time jumping on. We understood that there will also be a large LCD screen installed next time we’ll be there, with lounging area around for the parents, we are looking forward to that.
Our son and myself also loved the pool, kept very clean and tidy, situated centrally in the park.
Even though is not large, it gave us plenty of room to cool off, play and jump into the water, or sit in the shade and talk over a cup of coffee.
Another fantastic activity all of us loved to do was kayaking, not on the big river but in the park’s back waters. The best time to go we found to be late in the afternoon when all the birds come back to nest for the night. We just rowed quietly through the vegetation and had an awesome time observing all the birds, watching the sun go down and having a great family time.
We had an awesome stay, it was our second and definitely not the last, we cannot recommend Blanchetown Caravan Park highly enough, we are looking forward to our next stay which we hope is not going to be too far in the future.

My hubby and I have just spent 3 nights at the Blanchetown Caravan Park in South Australia. So quiet, peaceful and the best caretakers. You need sattelite aerial to get tv reception, but if you want peace it doesnt matter. The amenities are old, but clean. The caretakers have only had the park for 12 months and the park was rundown. It will take time to get it back upto scratch. Well done for what they already accomplished, they have loads of plans of what they are going to do. All the best to them, we will be back.

Friendly, excellent overnight stay neat and tidy facilities although old.
Not grass sites.
Privately-owned 18 months ago slowly updating and what has been done as good. Has toddlers pool, swimming pool and jumping pillow.
$35 2 adults per night $25 for site only self contained. Seniors discount available

Excellent place to stop for 2 to 3 days.
Very clean. Very helpful and friendly caretakers.

Adam and Carol are fantastic make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Have semi permanent site there now and absolutely love it here.

We did not count here. But we stopped by and looked very very nice period picturesque views lots of birds beautiful

Had a great stay in an ensuite cabin kids had a ball staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us would stay again anytime
