Blackwood Community RSL

Unfortunately the chicken schnitzel with chips and salad was poor. The chicken was tough and all the crumbs fell off. And the salad was limp and without any dressing.

Went to a friends birthday party. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. The staff are very friendly and serve with a smile.

Great place for a reasonably priced pub meal + often good live music such as provided by the Porter Bay band last Friday.

I came in and got a chicken snitty. It was prepared by a new, young man and it tasted fantastic! This young man, 6"3' brown haired with a mullet, deserves a pay rise!

Good Food, Great staff, friendly place, is like stepping back in time like nothing has changed from the 80's, but in a good way.

Rang up and ordered for certain time - ready when asked. Food was great - pumpkin/spinach lasagne and fish'chips. Both meals hot and chips crispy. Thank you, will be back.

Was not impressed by the quality of the meal or the rude waitress when I recieved the wrong meal

The local RSL provides good food and drinks at reasonable prices, so makes it a great place to go as either a couple or as a family you would even be fine popping in on your own for a drink and a chat with some of the regulars.
I consider the venue child friendly with a couple of pool tables, footy screening and not.to mention the raffles (I am yet to win anything)
We recently popped in for dinner to try the American ribs and must compliment the cook. Ribs and Chicken were tender, well sauced and servings were large.
Staff are fun and efficient locals great to chat to.

The RSL has great food and is good value for money, with daily specials and all the traditional stuff like raffles. It's regularly packed as a result. They haven't decorated since 1975 but there is a pool table. Recommended.

Awesome little RSL with a veryfriendly, local feel.
Enjoyed the meals and the service. Also, kids eat free on Thursday nights, which is awesome when you have toddlers.:)

Great value meal if your looking for a parmie and pint deal for under 17 dollars. Fair range of tap beers with a real club atmosphere. Also has live music on Friday nights.

Neville, the new chef is unbelievable! Went by chance with friends on steak night and now I have a terrible dilemma! How can I choose between this delicious TENDER steak, and my favourite - gnocchi seafood, which is DIVINE. Neville is a genius! We love our RSL!

This is a friendly club lots of great people to talk to. The club is clean and tidy has a great dining/function room food is good. There are 2 pool tables an A. T. M.machine and a big plus is no pokies so real conversation is back. I would recommend it for families and have seen quite a few there. I enjoyed it and have been back.

Good family dining but remember it is an RSL so a lot of drinkers and pool players in the bar area. Prices in the Gunners restaurant are reasonable.
