Blackwood Chicken & Seafood

Very average, fish very oily, Yiros- tasteless, ingredients not very fresh. I believe it could be a very good, it just needs someone to bring into 2023

The fish and chips tasted pretty good but VERY disappointed with serving size for price. Ordered a large and came as a small, so we are all left hungry and have had to cook up more food at home which defeats the purpose of takeaway being an easy feed! Wouldn’t go again or recommend for this reason.

Dora has always delivered the goods, great fish and chips love her Greek salad, will miss her if she ever retires

Very kind and thoughtful, cooked a big lot of hot chips I was craving, even though, it was very hot today, they were closing, had counted till and just turned fryers off. Thanks heaps

Lady was extremely rude and unfriendly. Shocking customer service, the food was extremely over priced, $5 for a small gravy? Butter fish tasted like it had been sitting out for days as well as the chips. Very disappointed would not return here!

Ordered a butter fish pack and a piece of whiting. Whiting had bones, salads tasted like they had sat in the cabinet for a few days. Butter fish pieces were very small and super oily. Pack said it came with tartare sauce. It didn’t. They only edible thing was the chips. Won’t be back again.

I called this business and received the rudest lady on the other end of the call. I received the wrong order (mistakenly rang the wrong Blackwood Chicken & Seafood shop, I'll admit to that) but she blatantly REFUSED to let me know which road her store was on and NEVER suggested I had called the wrong chicken shop/number. I felt like I said something wrong, ended up crying and she made me feel like I was trying to lie my way in order to get a free meal or something.

Everyone makes mistakes (taking the wrong order down, calling the wrong number, etc.)

IT DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO BE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! Especially in the hospitality industry! Customer service MINUS 5 stars!

Great family business. I bought a chicken hot pack and a calamari hot pack for 'Ron' and both were really good.

Hot chips nice but no warning that they would come with a paprika/chicken type salt and some of the chips were dry

Delicious…. We had a seafood pack, the fish was perfectly cooked, fresh and juicy. The calamari, scallop and prawns, also so delicious. The pack came with plenty of chips all for a very reasonable price. We ordered a small chips, extra crispy with lots of salt - they came as asked. We were only passing by, but if we are in the area again we won’t hesitate to stop again.

This is the shop opposite Hungry Jacks. They make a real burger - very old school, wide but not tall and full of flavour. They got mine right even when I added things to the plain burger. The chips were crunchy and lightly salted - if you want more salt you can add it yourself. Loved the potato fritters as they were crunchy and not too fat. The lady at the counter was lovely and funny. We've tried a couple of places in Blackwood and Stirling but this one has the best burger so far. Will definitely go back again

A very nice chicken shop. They also do some nice seafood options like prawns and crab sticks. There's also salad but I don't know what it tastes like. Very good option for when Coles doesn't have any chicken available for lunch.

Doesnt listen to orders. Argues when replacing them. Horrible customer service and average food. Wont ever return. Go to botanic chickens instead, much better food. Would give 0 stars if I could.

The lady serving me was rude. I asked about sizes and she pointed at containers that didn't accurately show the size.
She assumed the AB pack I ordered had all the sauces, and then added onion in to it? Which i have never experienced before with an AB pack, which was ridiculously over priced.
Chips soggy, bland chicken salt. Garlic sauce is filled with that fake over powering minced garlic taste not the delicious fresh garlic it should be.
Really dissapointing wasting so much money on inedible food.

Rude lady behind the counter - overpriced food - came to $36 she charged $37 on eftpos bones in the fish - not many chips to a serve - salads were awful there were peas in everything and a Greek salad should have feta cheese and olives not just tomato and cucumber and it certainly doesn’t have an Italian dressing on it!

Like the food and friendly service! Only down side is the size difference of the schnitzel pack if you want veg and if you don't.

The chips were lukewarm, and the coleslaw tasted weird. NOt a very good experience as we have had better ones.

Ordered a yiros with no onion. Order repeated back correctly. Walked all the way home to find it was full of onion. Waste of $13.

This place has the best burgers in all of adelaide i swear. You will spend $8.90 and you will get a borger that weighs over a kilo and tastes magnificent. The chips are also legendary. Love this place n come here almost every week.
