First time for us and we will definitely be back friendly staff and the food was excellent beer is nice and cold and according to the wife the coffee is also very nice.

Absolutely great. Wonderful food, great Service, friendly helpful good information on the building.

Hannah was absolutely amazing! The food is always delicious so happy to celebrating New years here and dancing the night away with DJ Harmony

Enjoyed a lovely pub meal with some especially lovely friends at the Blacksmith Inn. This place has a great Country feel and relaxed atmosphere. The dining room looks out over some fields and you can enjoy sunset while having dinner. Lots of customers sitting outside in the verandah seating area.
Plenty of seating, pleasant and friendly service are combined with a fairly predictable pub menu. The serving sizes of the schnitzel, salt & pepper squid as well as the lamb shanks (2 is a big meal) were all generous.

Visited on St Patrick's Day, good vibe outside with live music The Guiness on tap was greatly appreciated.

This pub has a country feel which I like. The staff were very friendly, helpful and very efficient in delivering the meals we ordered. The meals ordered were plentiful but could have been a little bit better than we experienced. The steak was a little tough and the chips a little over cooked. However, we did enjoy ourselves and will go back another time.

My partner and I after 30 years together married at the Blacksmith Inn on the 23/12/2022 we wanted something small and personal with good food and great atmosphere and we were not disappointed! Having been there on many occasions for dinner we knew this was our place The staff especially Hannah went above and beyond to make our day perfect nothing was too much
The garden area was set up ready for the ceremony then champagne and drinks delivered to our guests whilst photos were taken and the function side was set to perfection

Last time I visited the Inn was over a decade ago. It was just a quaint old fashioned pub needing a touch of updating. We visited on NYEve for lunch, and on entering the inn the first thing i noticed was the new decor. Staff were very friendly even though they were preparing for the evening's celebrations. Menu has a good variety of meal choices and caters for patrons that have varied dietary requirments. Drinks as well as meals are ordered at the bar. We ordered, a haloumi burger (absolutely delicious), Cajun chicken and vegetarian pizza, both of which looked very appetising. Blacksmith's Inn located at One Tree Hill is not that far for people to travel to. This is one place I will definitely visit again.

We were there with a group of 30+ they were short staffed but wow. What an amazing job they did. Food was delicious and there service was excellent.big A+ to the junior waiter. You nailed it mate. Well done.

Great atmosphere, good service and absolutely amazing food. Has a good vibe about it and plenty of places to sit however you want it. Love it.

40+ people attended a $40/head 2 course set menu today7/12/2022 the service was shocking (not the staff) but the timeliness ofthe meal delivery chicken dry inedible the roast potatoes almost burned to a crisp, some of the vegetables were very undercooked, the Christmas pudding and custard was reheated as some of the custard was cold and some of it was hot. Overall I would definitely no recommend it.

Great food today. Ribeye steak was perfect and schnitzels were good. Will be comming back again.

Gorgeous looking pub, really nice venue. Ordered 6 oysters Kirkpatrick, for entree but sadly they had none. So ordered garlic bread instead.typical garlic bread, nice. Then for mains, I ordered Hand cut salt and pepper squid. Sadly, this wasn't hand cut fresh squid, it was pineapple cut frozen Squid, that you buy from the supermarket, as I have bought it many times and know the taste. It was very tough.certainly not what I was expecting. Side salad was delicious.
My partner had the Guinness Pie with mashed spuds, and absolutely enjoyed it! Very good sized serve.
Dessert was French Vanilla and Strawberry cheesecake, with whipped cream and strawberries.to be fair, I thought they gave me the wrong dessert. It was a round flan/tart. (From a frozen packet according to our table attendant) The base wasn't at all like a cheesecake, it was like a heavy pastry.the 'cheesecake' filling was half a cm in height, and was like custard tart, nothing cheesecake about it at all, and the whipped cream was out of a can, so had lost its life basically, and I ended up with less than half a teaspoon of deflated cream and 1 half of a strawberry. Very disappointing. This dessert isn't a cheesecake, and should be represented as a flan instead. Sadly, it was inedible.
Then we had a Frosty fruit cocktail.omg, these were amazing! Refreshing and so yummy, I easily could have had a few more!
Overall, a lovely venue, but the food needs to represent what it states on the menu better. Would consider going back.even if just for the cocktails!

Good bang for buck pub meals and beers on tap.
Small gaming room, separate function room area and plenty of parking.
Still struggling a little bouncing back from covid era I presume with wait times / less staff.

6 of us gave this place a try today and must say we all had a great meal. The meals were all on the large size and the service was good with friendly staff. All gave it a thumbs up and it is on all our lists to return in the near future. Thank you and well done.

Firstly sold out of everything we wanted so changed our orders only to then getting 2 out of 4 meals got our money back for 2 meals not made not a good wedding anniversary dinner

Delicious Scottish pub with the best chicken schnitzel I’ve ever tasted and have scottish beverages available like Irn Bru and Vimto

Meals took a while to come out although it was quite busy. I had the beef pie and really only wished the salad was not coleslaw haha. The aesthic of the restaurant and drive to the venue was very appealing.
