Amazing location, great views from the open plan kitchen, dining, living area and balcony. Welcoming hosts & very clean and spacious accommodation. We can't wait to return. Especially loved the abundance of wildlife in Emu Bay.kangaroos, echidna, possums, dolphins, seals, birds, pelicans and a huge colony of penguins! A short walk to the jetty & a drive on beach with crystal clear water.

Very clean and well appointed. Well positioned for day trips around the island. Can definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Don't even want to give one Star. Paid for the accommodation and didn't even stay at the property.

Stayed here with 2 other couples in May, 2019. It's a very comfortable, well-appointed house in a beautiful location. We even saw a koala in the neighbor's tree as we enjoyed cocktails on the covered porch. Knowing it was a little remote, we bought groceries near the ferry landing before heading to the house. It's a little bit of a drive to the western side of the island and the national park, but manageable. Kangaroo Island was my favorite place during my trip to Australia. The views from this house are lovely. Highly recommended.

Great location. Clean and simple. Great for kids as not too many nick nacks. Will definitely stay again. Owners very nice.

We stayed here last July and my mistake, forgot to review it sooner. What a gorgeous property. This was hands down our favorite place after almost 2 months in Australia. The view from our apartment was spectacular with gorgeous sunrises every morning. The drive to Kingscote was easy, with everything you need in town. The owner told us about an area to see in Kingscote where the kids were amazed to see seals basking in the sun. He came over to get the kids to show them an echidna, which was hiding around the corner. The property is very well kept with laundry, chefs kitchen and of course, an amazing BBQ. We only hope to return when the weather is a tad warmer to enjoy the nice outdoor deck and walk to the beach. One last highlight, we did see baby penguins one night along the beach area. I will never forget my children's reaction. Cannot wait to return!

Well appointed and clean accommodation. Good views. Would have given 5 stars but for the experience. Very isolated location. Would have loved to be completely off grid but not without warning. Wasn't informed that nothing other than telstra mobile will work till I rocked up in Emu bay. There is no information about which of the 3 properties the owner will allocate you so I was completely stuck. Had to drive back for 25 km to get mobile signals. On calling the owner from there he still wouldn't tell me which property to reach and kept saying just drive up to the road & I'll keep an eye out for you even when I told him that my phone won't work. At that point he did warn me to get something to eat as "there are no shops in Emu bay" - I would have appreciated that warning long beforehand. After reaching the second time I was told that property uses rain water so drink this or buy water (from shops 25km back from where you just came from). There is a landline in the property but this will NOT allow you to call to mobiles even if you offer to pay like I did (most local tours and activities will give mobile nos as contacts). Absolutely nothing in Emu Bay other than a beach - if you're interested in any tourism (parks, bushes, activities, anything) look for accommodation along south coast where beach side properties are available too. Otherwise spend time driving around like I did (600km in 2.5 days)

Excellent from start to finish. Greeted by the owners on our arrival and shown through their beautiful holiday rental. Art kindly gave us a few tips on the island. A glorious spot with amazing views over the bay. A perfect location to chill or go off exploring. The home is well equipped, clean and modern. Highly recommend this piece of paradise.look forward to returning in the future
