4Nice area for the kids to run around but who in their right mind puts a flying fox on a flat pad when the whole park is on a slope? !? !? ! Up here for thinking down there for dancing!
For safety it needs a fence aroud so little ones can't run out on the road. Also footpaths in the Vynland St entry would make a safer route as there a steep and sharp cornered roadway at the end.
Park has had a face lift and upgraded play equipment and partial lawn area. Unfortunately council planted additional trees in the open area, which has reduce the open area significantly.
Also they chose to put lawn on the slope over the flat area, which defies logic.
If you are looking for an area to kick a ball, this is no longer an option as you are competing for the tiny tree free lawn space around the play equipment.
Could do with a shade or pergola and BBQ area, which is standard for park down south.
A nice sized park with a basketball ring, ball game space, play equipment, table and seating.
