Billy's Table reviews
42The place is kind of cool looking inside and the food was quite good, but it was the over an hour wait from order to receiving our meals, that left a bad taste in our mouths. After we made this clear to the server, they were apologetic and offered free dessert, explaining other orders, Uber, were the cause. I would suggest that dine in patrons take priority in the future, or they may stay away.
A gem, delicious food. The margaritas are as good as I’ve ever tasted. Wonderful service. Can’t fault this place.
Wonderful. I have a few food intolerances and they were really helpful finding delicious food I could eat. I’d definitely go again!
Have had delivery twice from here. Pizza first time was great, we really enjoyed it. 2nd time we ordered, the bottom of both pizza's were burnt.really burnt. Ordered a brownie, which had been cut a while back and was stale. Would love to support a local, but this type of inconsistency makes it hard. We have eaten in a couple of times, very mixed including a whole fish that had not been scaled saga.
TLDR: OK and showing promise.
Service: OK but could have been better. Our server was nice but clearly didn't have enough training (hint: it's always a good idea to suggest daily specials). The place seems rather understaffed.
Atmosphere: Quite nice but a little too generic, very boring 70s/80s soft rock in the background.
Food: very nice extensive menu, great breakfast options. Interesting daily specials. The waiting time for the food was rather long taking into account the restaurant wasn't very busy. The special, rabbit stew, was plentiful but bland beyond hope. Other dishes we shared were much better and also very well sized but none of them especially memorable.
We are going to give this place another try as we think it's showing a lot of promise.
Unreal food! Probably the best place in Adelaide for atmosphere and the most unreal homemade pasta and baked cheese!
Delicious food and great service. We had in different occasions breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee/chocolate and everything was perfect.
We really enjoyed our lunch. We shared an amazing platter of a range of food, recommended by Billy. A delicious array of tastes and the dessert platter was divine. Try the lemon tarts, in fact, just ask to be surprised by Billy’s Table choices! Also, such great value too.
Faultless!
Enjoyed a hearty granola & poached pear & berry breakfast and great coffee.
The sweets looked amazingly decadent (for another time) & great varied menu to suit all tastes. Clean, authentic venue with lots of pride.
Had an enjoyable lunch here today with my young daughter. Loved the kid’s pasta with just butter and cheese. Corn and Zucchini fritters were crisp and tasty. Delicious food and excellent service.
Lovely little place.except when you ask for a meal on the menu and don’t receive the correct meal it’s a little disappointing.
The quality of the food here is divine. Just remember to save room for a Billy's standout the desserts! We'll be back for sure.
Amazing service food and atmosphere! Highly recommended we will definitely be back Thankyou very much ️
Billy's Table is focussed around food cooked in the wood oven. It's fresh. It's seasonal. It's carefully considered. It's always delicious. The staff are lovely and really friendly. It is popular so it is worth making a booking. Good wine list with some boutique offerings on there. Don't skip the vegetable dishes - they are good. As is the house bread and hummus!
Billy's table, situated in trendy Elizabeth Street, Croydon is a a great place to dine and catch up with friends. Great food, service and also their Frappe deserves a special mention, it was superb.
This place has some of the best, if not the best food I’ve had in Adelaide. Really well prepared and presented, and service is friendly and efficient.
Had a beautiful dinner tonight the waitress did so so AMAZING considering it was her all by herself! She made beautiful drinks also especially for being under the pump! Such unique flavours and wholesome staff cannot fault thankyou for a lovely dinner!
Very slow service after initial bottle of water given.
Aircon made the meal go cold quickly.
Had to ask to have background music volume lowered as we had to shout to hear each other.
Lovely Mimosa with Apple Juice instead of Orange Juice.
Will try again another day, hoping the meal is hotter.
What's great spot, tucked away but the atmosphere is fantastic
Service is amazing and friendly
As for the food, amazing specials board which this week was seafood.
Wine list changes weekly, with good quality and the beers were crafty enough for those who are into it
Great spot.
Amazing service food and atmosphere! Highly recommended we will definitely be back Thankyou very much
