Bills BBQ Chickens & Takeaway

These guys are flamming incredible. You get so much bang for your buck here and the chips are always crispy, chicken always juicy. Just amazing! Prices are so good for the current financial climate, too.

We thought we would try this place instead of our usual chip shop as they were closed.

The best snitty & chips pack really good value for money too, we will definitely be coming back here now.

I would totally avoid Bills BBQ chicken corner Bains road and states road.

First they forgot our second bag of chips, so I called and ordered them again, and said the fish we received was wet, broken and soggy.
So they said they will cook a new fish.
Sent my partner to pick it up, he says pick up for Maddie, and they give him a bag.
He gets home, it’s the wrong order.
During this time we are eating our chicken family meal and my friend had a metal screw thing IN her chicken. She almost broke her tooth on it.
After we finish eating what we had, my friend went up to the shop to just let them know. My friends were really polite.
Nobody greeted them when they walked in.
When my friend started discussing the problem, the girl serving her yells “SUEEEE! ” And I’m assuming the owner came out, defensive and very un polite.
Completely blames my partner for getting up and grabbing the wrong order. When my partner asked for “Maddie”.
After a discussion with a complete rude and un reasonable owner, my friend showed the screw in our food, with a response ”… well that’s not from us. ” “Thats from the chicken manufacturers or something” and put the screw on her bench. A small $10 refund after spending $60 on cold, wet half missing food.
Not ONCE a sorry, no customer service what soever. Anyway, some good customer service goes a long way to saving a business.

Very dim looking shop. No lights in the display cabinets eg the salad and chicken. The grill was balck as. For a dollar extra I can get a better and bigger burgers nearby. Patty's were pre cooked the onion wa pre cooked. The burgers had that much oil dripping from it.

We get takeaway weekly here and it's always great. Walking in its like you've stepped into 1986, complete with retro chicko roll posters, which is a wonderful thing in itself. We get the BBQ chicken and chips (we often get Mad Monday special which is great value) and it's always fresh and delicious. The gravy is top notch, thick and brown. They also do big juicy burgers better than the fast food joints and a delicious yiros, the lamb is marinated in merlot, very nice. Honey mustard chicken pasta salad is delightful too. The owners work very hard in here and we are just so glad to have them as our local.

Good old school fish and chip shop, friendly, generous portions and cheap prices. What more can you ask for

Chips was not the best, buger was good. End of the day you get what you paid for.
$8 burger with the alot pretty cheap considering most other buger over $10

Terrible food, terrible service. I got blamed for their bad food because I got there 2 minutes after the time it was ready but it had apparently sat in the warmer for 10-15 minutes and she told me she doesn't even see why I should get a refund. Poor attitude all round, definitely won't be back.

Very poor customer service. Ordered via Menulog, paid via paypal. Get a phone call 5 minutes later from some poor kid telling me 3/4 of my order is not available. I ask them "what now" as i had already paid. The Boss (who was getting the poor girl on the phone to do the dirty work) said they cant do anything about it and i had to deal with menulog. Luckily menulog know what customer service is and fixed the issue right away. Glad someone knows what they are doing.

Thought we would give bills a go, after reading the good reviews it sounded positive.but clearly the reviews were made by family or the staff that work there to make the place sound good. The food was terrible! The hot chicken roll did not taste fresh at all, the chicken fillet burger was putrid.the fillet was a small Woolworths brand fillet that was less than half the size of the bun, it was soggy like it was just microwaved and only had 3 pieces of OLD WILTED lettuce. The burger was just gross, the egg salad was like rubber. Could not eat the food and my dog even turned her nose up at it! Do not go here and we will NEVER return again!

Very disappointed. The chicken had hardly any meat, and the chips were so overcooked they were unpleasant to eat. Thank goodness the gravy was good, so we could drown the food in it to make it bearable. Sadly, we will not be coming back here any time soon

Bought a combination kebab and salad and was so disappointed, kebab was awful not fresh, salad tasted like yesterdays leftovers, then the owner yells at me for talking it back for refund. I spend over $200 a month but not anymore. The customer is always right not what you the owner reckons.

Always had good food there.please support these people cause now the deli has gone not much business

The food was great and the price was awesome. I had to organise dinner for 20 boys in a youth group and Bill's chicken went above and beyond to give me a good price and good food and all the guys loved it.

Chips were horrible and chicken was very dry and chicken schnitzel Was a little burnt but was still good and the lady who took my order was extremely rude and tried to charge me extra till I corrected her and got my change back

Boaght small chips and the lot hamburger 11.50 cheap and gave me over flowing chips in to the take away bag and so much better then most pub hamburger and chips that charge $20 for.

$4 50 chips was very small will never return and they were overcooked and the potato cakes were greasy I wouldn't go there if I were you

We ordered steaksanwiches with the lot.it didn't have the lot on it.lettuce tomatoe egg cheese meat sauce was all that was on it.that's not what I consider lot.

I wanted to purchase two containers that were being sold old gravey containers they wanted $3.00 each bit rich and when I said it was abit rich the people behind the counter changed from being freindly to rude.
I wont be back.

I personally like my Fish 'N' Chips from here and if you like your gravy thick and not like soup then you will like it too, there's plenty of other options as well. Price to portion size is the best around.
