Everything was great but there was no footpath or bike path to the beach, foreshore or shops.

TLDR: excellent location, good value for money.

Very kids friendly with a number of included activities and facilities (free hire of basketball, tennis rackets, etc). Excellent and well presented cabins - perfect TV reception, Foxtel, a DVD player, far better than one could expect in most motels.

We loved the location, if you don't mind longer walks (and we love them) it takes 30-35 mins to walk to the beautiful Aldinga with its amazing food and beer.

The only negative observation we all had is that everything is in a state of slight disrepair. The mini golf course could use a touch of paint, the door latch is barely hanging by one screw, the tennis rackets have seen much better days.

Overall we have enjoyed our stay and will likely be back. Recommended.

The sofas are very dirty. It was panic to sit on them (no22). Bring your own white sheet to use sofa. Preferably bring your own towel too. Test everything is beautiful

Stayed for 3 nights in one of the little Oz Shacks just to switch off for a few days. It was very cute and cosy, and surprisingly really warm. The staff were amazing and very helpful. It was exactly what I needed and will definitely make another booking to stay in summer.

One of our favourite caravan parks! So much to do for the kids, relaxing for adults and only a short drive to some amazing spots! Awesome!

Very happy with our stay. We stayed one night at a powered site with ensuite. The ensuite was clean and well appointed.
Will definitely stay here again on our next road trip.

Great camping ground. Short walk to the beach. Short drive to Aldinga. Easy access to the Adelaide Hills and southern districts. Not far from southern express way making access to Adelaide easy.

Booked a cabin for a couple of nights for a wedding nearby. I have killed 5 spiders including one in the bed. We had a dragon fly in the room and pulled the lounge out to get it and found bottle caps, old crackers, dirt and maltesers. Dirt under the beds and in the corners of the bathroom. Stained coffee cups, rusty kettle, stained cushions. Would not recommend. We may not have booked a deluxe cabin but we still deserve a clean one.

Positives:
Nice country feel

Negatives:
Park internet was not working and Telstra coverage was terrible (Which is strange given there’s a phone network tower in the back corner of the park.
Massive bull ant problem at the bouncy pillow and tennis court.
Mini golf not able to be used due to being completely covered in leaf litter
Generally very run down with no park personnel too interested in fixing it up
A blower vac of the pool area, tennis court, and mini golf once a day would’ve made a world of difference.

The location is beautiful.

Playground free
Ramp for bike or skaterboard or skate free
Giant Chest free
Mini mini golf to pay

And Pool free however in 8 days we found the pool open 3 days as always need a cleaning so I believe need a renovation.
Last our day we had thinking girls can stay on a pool while we pack up guest what? Closed for cleaning again? We need money back as we used only 3 times the pool
My children were upset for it
Children activities:

Craft activities or others once a week
Wi fi not good so slow need to be improved
FEEDBACK OF 2017
Beautifull place for holidays
Good area near beach shops city
To improve: need more shed for people came with tent
need to divide people with dogs and no as some childs can scare about and also the dog can be more free.
Kids cinema awesone maybe every 3 days instead the week

Bit disappointed with our recent stay, my partner was charging his portable battery for his tools in the laundry and it was taken by a permanent resident.
Reception staff were helpful and contacted the permanent resident (they obviously knew who took it) asking for them to return it but it was returned with a different, smaller battery.
We also had a strange man snooping around our site and another site around 10pm. Making ourselves and the other family very uneasy.
Note to self and other campers don’t put too much trust into others and keep your belongings safe and stored away.

On arrival 10/12 @3: 40pm on a 35 degree day to be advised the slides were shutting down & wouldn't be operating the following day as everyone was leaving. 2 disappointed kids!

Spent 2 nights there before heading to Cape Jervis to take a ferry to Kangaroo Island. After knowing that our campervan didn’t need a powered site, the kind and friendly reception staff helped us to downgrade ours to an unpowered site.

A medium sized caravan park with plenty of trees and shades. It was the 2nd half of May and the park was quiet. Like most other BIG4 ones, it comes with wifi. The toilet was big and clean and the hot shower was good. Unfortunately the camp kitchen was under renovation and couldn’t be used. The down side of travelling in low season. Luckily there was a kettle in the laundry room.

It's a short drive to Aldinga where both your stomach, car and fridge could be replenished.

Customer service fantastic from both ladies in the office and especially obliging when we asked if we could check the caravan in early as we had things to do in the city. Amenities very clean and tidy. Concrete pad for the caravan to sit on was a great bonus.
Thanks.

Such a gem of a park in the middle of the country side, but so close to lovely Aldinga and the shops. The park is very countrified too, with lots of trees and pine bark on the ground. There are lots of facilities for the kids, and boasts a pool with crystal clear water. You can buy a freshly brewed coffee at reception, and the staff are lovely. We enjoyed our stay there very much, and hope to return later in the year.

Nice place to stay, rather noisy on the camp side but I was on the cabin side. 4 adults, 1 kid and 1 baby and we were only allowed 1 car on site while one of the adults is disabled.the range hood didn't work so we couldn't use the oven. Few lights didn't work aswell outfront and inside which was annoying. Felt like we paid alot and couldn't utilise the cabin for its full potential, especially needing to cook outside in the heat. I wasn't happy with that especially with walking up and down the steps with my disease is very difficult. But there wasn't an offer for any compensation which upset me and everyone else.
This place will keep the kids occupied long enough to get some drinks in ya (if thats what your thing is) but end of the day it's just another camp site it's just close compared to the other ones.

Camp kitchen is large with lots of seating. Vending machine stopped working during our stay.we had a nice big site at the back which we loved. Bathrooms were ok. Cleanliness could have been up to a higher standard during covid times. Pool was nice but no shade. Once we made good friends with our neighbours we started to have trouble with staff (do not know what that was about). We were told it was booked out and we couldnt stay any longer but on Big 4 website i was able to book another week. We then asked to extend our stay for another 4 days and was told by owner thats was as long as he could have us. Even though there were more than enough sites. It seemed to be there were one set of rules for some and another lot for people staff didnt like. We had mice in our van eating our food. The bark on sites made everything dirty and when the wind would pick up it would spread the dirt.

If it wasnt for the horrible customer service in Admin office it would have been a pleasant stay. We won’t be back!
