Big Shed Brewing Concern reviews
54 Beer good. Service alright. Didn't try the food. Little bit overpriced and commercial.
We're a young couple without kids, we don't go to a brewery to see a childcare center. If you want to go out for a few beers and a good times, maybe go to a local pub
"Sunday lunch at Big Shed Brewing was fantastic, with the best meat platter. It was fresh, delicious, and served in a generous portion. The macaroni and cheese on top was the perfect finishing touch. An absolute delight! " Great music and vibe, worth the travel.
The family and I had the Thursday Shnizza tonight. All I can say is WOW.those chefs have outdone themselves, always 10/10 service, ambience and food. Thankyou Big Shed
Music is great but is aggressively loud, makes it hard to talk. Good atmosphere when music stopped.
Really love this place, the food is top notch, there's a huge range of self-brewed beers (also quality), and it's got a great vibe. Highly recommend.
Good stuff here Wednesday nights! Quiz nights, such good value food and drinks! Many many choices! Can't wait to come back - yours truly. VHAM!
I didn't try the food but my friends and I loved this place. And the cider was good too. The perfect place for post Xmas party drinks. I'll def be back
The beer selection is excellent, and a strong offering for those who don’t enjoy more traditional beers, including ciders and wine.
The food was also a delightful surprise, far better than what you would expect from a brewery/ tap house.
The outdoor, shaded and pet friendly seating is also appreciated.
The staff seemed to be enjoying themselves which is always a good sign
Dinner: Great Vibe, Live Music, Superb Service with friendly, helpful Staff and pretty damn good Food. Whilst busy, it wasn't overcrowded which was nice. Tried several of the Craft Beers and was actually surprised how nice they were. The hard Lemonade is awesome, not sickly sweet and heavy like some. Just clean, delicious and as you'd expect, refreshingly Lemony at 5.5% alc. Well done Big Shed Brewing and Staff /Chefs. I think this may become a favourite venue.
Excellent vibe and live music on the Sunday we visited. Friendly, fast and good staff, very kind to our dogs, offering water and treats. Food service was quick and delicious, with GF, VF and DFA options. They offer sour beer, stouts, ales etc.plus a seltzer and 2 ciders.
When busy, it's good to book.
They offer brewery tours, beginners classes on brewing, food, tasting platters, merch, mixed purchases and quiz nights.
Highly recommend and will be going back and bringing friends.
Good venue. Some excellent beers on tap, with regular new releases available. Decent burgers, pizza, chips and other offerings. Plus, now offer vegan too. Single can takeaway beers can be very expensive, but the 4 packs offer much better value. The music volume inside could be toned down to make conversation easier.
The 40-year old hipster bartender "Skippy" is not clever enough to be pulling beers in public.
Perfect cold beer.
Delicious coffee.
Friendly staff.
Plenty of room for large gathering and small gatherings.
Everyone welcome.
Took a friend and it was her first visit. She just loved the experience. Bought the special pizza to share. Yummy! Got a paddle of 4 beers. Great way to get a taste of beers on offer. The Golden Daytime Stout was an experience.
Great day; burgers fresh, tasty, chicken Hoo Ya fab. Highly recommended hot sause & golden stout time beer, but everything worth trying
Pleasant atmosphere and great beer. Nicole is service with a smile. Thank you we will be back. Also try their Cider.
Hot to deff! Drinks, food, and service are second to none, AND it's a legit SA company that wants to stay that way.
Headed to the Big Shed for Friday night drinks and a feed. Ordered too much food in our enthusiasm.
Fries and onion rings were on point.
The vego Tex Mex bowl was a big disappointment. It had beans and rice that you could count on one hand and the rest was all lettuce. For $20 a pop, not worth it at all. The chef explained that it usually came with that much lettuce which seemed suss. However, they did offer to make us a new one. We ended up getting the Margherita pizza instead which came out piping hot and with a drizzle of yum balsamic.
Next time we will stick to drinks and nibbles if we happen to head to that side of the town.
Cant review the food or drink as I couldn't get served to be seated. Waited patiently at the front counter where it said "please wait to be seated".
Close to 10 minutes waiting before I walked out. Multiple staff members walking around and not one came over to seat me. Seems like if you were already inside and wanted a drink they were quick to serve you, but otherwise you are of little concern.
One chance, blew it. I wont be going back.
My ears are aching! If your intention is to go and meet your friends to talk, then forge about it!
It's IMPOSSIBLE to talk! The music is soooo loud, I asked the staff to lower the volume, my friend also asked and nothing happened.
Another friend who invited me and is celebrating her 40th birthday had enough and left earlier because she had enough of the loud music. Our kids were disturbed too. So my friends and I definitely are not going back there!
