Big 4 Blanchetown Riverside Holiday Park reviews
16We stayed 3 nights it was absolutely a great place to stay right on the river. Michael and Lisa were great hosts they were so helpful. We will go there again
Fantastic family friendly park located right on the Murray River with very clean and tidy amentaties and large shady sites on a Saturday night freshly cooked pizzas made to your liking along with a communal camp fire definetely one of the best caravan parks we have stayed in well done to Michael and Lisa
Great little park. Our cabin was nice.spa was great! Awesome views of the river.in the warmer weather you could go swimming. The park pieces were down to earth lovely people. Saturday nights is pizza night.you build your own pizza from the vast array of toppings they provide then they cook it for you in the Woodfired oven! It was soooo yummy! Highly recommended staying here. We will definitely be back.
Small and friendly getaway. Spa cabin was perfect and we hired kayaks which where left out the front for us on arrival. Perfect little budget getaway. Thanks Blanchetown Big4?
Great experience. Stayed 2 nights and were treated like royalty by managers Michael and Lisa. Beautiful location with convenient access for a day trip to Barossa valley. Amenities spotless. Nightly communal fire a winner in colder months. River views, undercover camp kitchen and easy access to lock 1.
Having a Saturday job in Blanchetown i took the opportunity to stay overnight with my daughters.
We had a great time. Lockey and Mandy have captured their clientele. Many small extra items are just " supplied" like salt n pepper, sauces and paper towel etc. Even marshmallows for my girls.
We enjoyed the fire pit at night, fed the ducks and canoed the river.walked to the Blanchetown Hotel for dinner.
While apprehensive before hand of how small the park was we left very happy/surprised with our stay.
No hesitation to stay again
Great hosts. Clean facilities and roaring campfire for community get togethers, by the picturesque riverbank.
Stayed here for one night while passing through. Got a powered site with a tent and the view was amazing! Saw the river from our tent. The lady at the desk was nice, told us to call if we needed her at any time. We didnt get a chance to use the kitchen unfortunately. The bathrooms were very clean, and showers were good and updated. Lots of room to put your clothes on the benches in the stall. Lovely little town, we will definitely stay here again.
Passing through, did not stay the night. Very nice scenery with great kitchen facilities, a dock for fishing and an open area for the kids to play. Rating is not super accurate since I did not spend the night. Family who have stayed there said it was a great experience for them.
Fabulous little rv park on river. Great caretakers very friendly. Nice little covered pontoon to use for eating outside.
Amazing area, beautiful view, management are the most helpfully people I've ever meet, anytime of the day and night if anyone needed anything they would be there:) plenty of space:) and everyone interacts with everyone, great family fun area.they even make water melon and donuts for the people staying and slip and slide in the day. 5 stars for sure
We wanted a quiet, relaxing weekend away close to home.we hit the jackpot! Awesome hosts - beautiful river front views - 5 stars from us xxxx
Spotless facilities. Excellent showers, great hosts, quiet, great location on the river, cheap and nice extra touches such as sauces at the BBQ.
$36 FOR AN UNPOWERED CAMP SITE. I declined the offer and camped at the oval next door for free. Gas bbq and nice modern toilet block. Thanks to who ever makes tha available. Love your work.
Very nice park on the Murray. Spotless facilities. Friendly and helpful managers. Don't like the dumppoint. The grid prevent 'things' from passing and the water hose has not enough pressure to break them up. I saw one camper remove the grid to empty his toilet. If this is how it should be done, a tool should be provided to remove the grid.
