Bicycle SA

Did the Mawson trail, this year 2023 the riding was great but the over all organisation was not good.they had a significant COVID out break and people were asked to leave if they tested positive. So basically left to find own way home from outback SA they had no contingency plan for COVID. The further you got out from Adelaide the worst the food was! I would not recommend this ride as a large group.save your money and do it independently!

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely ride with Jack in the Adelaide hills! Enjoyed it thoroughly and will definitely do it again!

Though i also own a Bicycle and use common sense and courtesy to others such as Pedestrians and common road users but feel compelled in expessing my view on Bike SA as often being unreasonably too demanding and self rightious without any regard to the problems they end up causing to drivers and pedestrians.
As ones again being demonstrated at late trying to lobby the Government in suggesting taking over car lanes and do away with road car parking.
I think Kate Gilligan for Bike SA needs to get real and most of all be sensible and start thinking more realistic taking EVERY ONES needs into account and not just Bike Riders.

Lovely team of volunteers, workers and everyone in between. Very welcoming group of people that make the company feel like a family. Bike SA recently donated me a bicycle which has opened up many opportunities for me. Thank you Bike SA!

Fantastic concept. Unfortunately they are not funded past June 30 2019. Come on SA help yourself!

I was the best because of the Easter holiday at Moonta was amazing because i did my best ride and the highest.

You can borrow a bycicle here for free, and a helmet too. Horray. I love this. I can borrow also a bike with baby seat attached. Just show your passport, and get it back when you return the bike.

Just starting volunteer work. Looking forward to my new adventure. Lovely people providing a great service to the community and travellers to enjoy free bikes to ride.

They have bikes you can hire for free. They are all well maintained and the staff are very helpful

Great place to hire a bike, but don't answer questions straight out as you would normally expect and divert around the question. They need a bit if a course in his to be happy as well as learning how to answer a question the way it is meant to be answered.

Hired a good quality road bike (Avanti Giro) at very reasonable rate ($25 for 24 hours including helmet and lock) and toured around Adelaide (~60km loop from Adelaide city to Adelaide Hills (Mt Lofty) and Henley Beach) on my first day there. Friendly, knowledgeable staff with great local recommendations for best cycling routes - service comes highly recommended

Bike SA is a community hub for all things cycling. A wonderful spot for free daily bikes or to pick up a special on bike attire or, most importantly to get a membership that supports cycling in South Australia and give you third party insurance! A great support to the community and to cycling!

Free bike rental, advice on what one can see whilst in Adelaide, any sort of bike advice and a range of different community events, i interact with them alot.

Good service and they do great work to support the cycling community. Run well organised events.

Wonderful free bike lending program. We borrowed a bike with a kids seat for a few hours. Was a good bike in good condition. Possibly the best way to explore Adelaide.

It's free to rent a decent bicycle in Adelaide! Good service, and nice city to bicycle around. Would advise to go to the coast, the bikes are not of the quality that you would want to take them into the hills, but hey, at the price I'm not complaining!

Had a blast renting a bike for 3 hours and just cycling around the cbd!

I loved the bike ride but hated the way i was treated by the staff at semaphore.i got yelled at by the staff.when i went to return the bikes, the staff started talking bout us when we was leaving.

I've been to 2 different locations this morning to borrow a bike and nowhere had any bikes. Excuses were we're renovating and havent had them for months and we don't hire at this time of year. What a waste of time.
