Better Homes Supplies Mitre 10

We pulled up here today from QLD to grab some nuts, bolts and p clips that we needed. There was approximately 10+ staff walking around and not one of them would show us where the items were. We had to walk up and down every aisle to find what we were looking for. When we asked about the p clips they had no idea what we were talking about. We certainly won't be coming back to this store after the way we were treated.

Didn't have much in the way of timber and the price for what they had was 5 times the price of other mitre 10 prices. Look out when bunnings comes to town. Reality will hit then.

Got assistance as soon as I walked in, in about 15 minutes I had what I'd come for. It's great to be able to get what I needed all in one location

Plenty to choose from. Found what we wanted and left before I found stuff I didn't need.

Extremely greedily over priced due to no competition. Not sure what happens to M-10 when bunnings come to town.

A bit short on stock line but, the stock and price labels is an absolute mess. Lots of items without labels and fertilizers not where their label is.
I made a comment to a staff member but, I think it went over her head.

Customer service was ok. Prices weren't cheap. Bit expensive but good enuf if U really need something from there

It's ok for something's but very very very over priced on most things. There is no competition here in Port Augusta, so the owner thinks he can charge an arm and a leg. I found the best way for a good price is to go online and use click and collect, is up to 30% cheaper that way if your willing to wait up to 2 weeks for your product. I have purchased online for most of my needs and saved a bundle. The staff are very freindly and helpful though and they agree that the price in store is ridiculous. The owner needs to stop being so greedy and reduce prices and then maybe he will see more patronage in his store, plus valued regular customers.

Big place, but a little confusing as they have 2 large stores. One each side of the car park. Lots of stuff and variety. You just have to ask where to find what you need. The staff are good and helpful. All good Jim.

They were better but I was great.

Having said that, wonderful service, great range of products and a nice clean floor.
Can't argue with that.

Great set up. Had one really awesome helper in the main shed who helped us find everything we need.

Then when we went into the garden side. Good layout as well, but the customer service was a bit of a let down. Due to how overworked the lady on the register was, it just wasn't as great as the main shed.

Staff are rude, only speak to certain people when they feel like it. When i do get staff to help it usually starts with "what can I do you for"? Or I have been also been told to get out of a staff members way while browsing in an isle. Can't wait till this place has some competition open up. Until then I but most of my stuff online.

Good variety of merchandise, pretty unlucky if you can't find what you are looking to purchase.

If they haven't got it neither does any one else. Just so convenient and delivery available if needed.

Wonderful service been going there for our supplies for years and the bonus is a cup real coffee and a chat with Lorenzo. Its like visiting family

Be sure to check your receipts at this store, as the prices are never the same at the till as they are on the shelf. Disappointing!

One of the best mitre 10 stores I've been to and I've been to a lot around Australia that could take a lesson from you guys, well done. Great shopping experience.

Lady at the front counter is definitely unhappy, rude and did not care that she lost a sale.
Disappointing and will never shop there again!
