Beautiful reserve with toilets. No barbeques available for general use, I believe you need to contact the council ahead of time. Heaps of table space (4 wooden table sets), under over with grass area. Not much shade from trees

Well equipped undercover shelter for having social events. Barossa Valley Ford Club had Xmas party here.

This place is gorgeous. The undercover area is perfect for a lunch and dinner, and the oval is great for kids to play on. The surrounding forest and river and fields are fantastic to explore, you could even do your own treasure hunt!
The fireplace is wonderful in the winter, and if you book the kitchen it's very handy to have for bigger groups.
It's also available as a wedding venue, and a gorgeous one at that. Whatever the occasion, you'll enjoy your day here

Undercover, toilets, oval, dry creek bed and so many gum trees. What’s not to love? Book the kitchen to make a good day of it.

Great Reserve. You'll need to book and pay for use of the kitchen and facilities though through the Barossa Council. Worth it though. Sheltered from the wind and rain in winter and sun in summer. Great walking opportunities, playground for the kids and big lawned area to play on. So quiet too.

Had a great family get together. Being in busy Unley thought the noise factor might have been a problem but not at all great playground for the kids. Enjoyable afternoon had by all.

Tidy facilities and a well kept open space make for an excellent space for picnics and get togethers.

We went to this reserve people had hired the kitchen and was having a birthday party. They were not using two of the tables so we could have used those two tables as we were only going to be there for half an hour at the most so we could cut a birthday cake and ding happy birthday to one of our friends. These people wouldn't let us sit there. I personally found this ride as the seats and oval is open to the public. We went to the tanunda oval to cut our birth day cake and sing happy birthday to our friend. Very poor on behalf of the people who had hired the kitchen in my opinion
