Berri Riverside Holiday Park reviews
73Idk why the bunk beds had no blankets or sheets maybe bring ur own and I think the cabins need a bit more of an update don't recommend the cabins with just a curtain and no doors / sprate rooms if u have kids and no doors or shower curtain and dont understand why the bunk bed room has no fan or cooling for kids what do I have to bring a fan and instention cord too for my kid but other wise nice pool and kids activies
Would have been better if we had a grassed site.why put people on gravel mud when it's wet
Fantastic Holiday Park, great amenities, friendly staff, stayed 2 nights in a powered site.
Perfect location. Speedy service from maintenance. Awesome grounds, pool, mini golf, eatery, extra large game of chess, kayaks, gokarts and friendly staff. Cabin was clean. No complaints.
Been traveling around Australia for 10 months now and this has been the best park visited to date. Tremendous lawns and gardens and clean facilities. Pizza nights Sunday and Wednesday are a terrific idea. Staff are very friendly. Hope you stay safe from rising floodwaters.
Berri Riverside Holiday Park is a really great destination for camping, I have been going there every year for 4 years now, although this experience was probably the worst it them, we had power go out, loss of water, then the loss of hot water, most employees are friendly and is happy to help you, although there is a few that aren't as friendly. I hope this is better for next year
Great place to stay great accommodation and friendly staff, nice comfortable beds in cabins
We stayed for 2 nights & thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
STAFF very helpful & friendly.
Cabin very clean & had really comfy mattress & pillows.
Lovely quiet park & can't wait for another stay here
Friendly staff, big lovely place with lots to do. 2 swimming pools, bouncy play area, playground, go karts. Right in front of the river. Cabins and nice and well maintained very good convenient location. Looking forward to staying here longer next time I go.
Why do the workers start driving around in their noisy golf carts before 7am?
Site flooded by water because of broken pipe.
Office staff quite rude.
Won’t be back.
I stayed in the disability cabin. It spotless clean and the facilities worked well for me. My only criticism is that the ramp from the caravan part of the park to the disability toilet is steep and the pavers are a bit slippery, but that had no effect on my enjoyment. 10/10
We camped with a tent & the rest of the family had a camper with 2 young children. Amenities are very good. Shower/toilet block clean & well maintained. Maintenance staff always busy but friendly & willing to help us when a sprinkler near our tent wasn’t working & the pool of water was getting very close to us. It’s a lovely park but we would hesitate to stay here again because of the office staff. We were fully aware that check out was at 10am but because we had a 3 month old baby with us that needed to be fed etc we were a bit slow packing up. The office tried to phone us & left a voicemail which I couldn’t hear. The park wasn’t busy so we thought checking out late (10.30am not 10am) wouldn’t be a big problem. My daughter in law was told quite rudely that check out was 10am. Our apologies for not getting out quickly enough. We found the office staff to be inefficient & quite rude at check in as well but thought this was an anomaly but no it’s the norm. If you do stay here abide by the rules or face the wrath of the office grinch.
Been there a couple of times. Close to everything you need. Good clean park. Well worth a visit.
We had an excellent 4 night stay here with the Traveller Caravan Group. The facilities are were great & accommodated our large group with ease. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will be back
Building site next door woke us up 7: 00 each morning, make sure you get site away from new development
This is a park for everyone quieter areas away from activity areas plus many cabins and accommodation options, we had an ensuite site for only a few dollars more per night than a powered site and it was very clean and functional, great place to stay.
We intended to stay 3 days and stayed for 6. The park rates in our top 5 (we’ve been travelling for 10 months). All the staff; admin and ground’s people are very friendly and the maintenance of the park is fantastic, lots of pride in their work. Berri is an ideal base to see the Riverlands area, a small town that has all you need.
Great place. Nice an clean. Beautiful pool area. Big miny golf. Best i have seen. Very highly recommend this park.
Excellent staff and very clean and tidy plenty of options for accomodations plenty to do and keep children amused
There's no doubt the Berri Riverside Holiday Park is one of the most picturesque parks in SA. It has a wonderful panorama to the Murray, beautiful tree canopies and excellent common areas. The location is close to the main street area and Berri Hotel. There are also excellent walking paths in close proximity, to get the daily exercise fix. There are also many high quality park attractions for the kids, and the kiosk (when open) is good for pizzas and coffee. The only detractor was our experience with park management. It's such a shame that the wonderful features of the park are let down by management's adversarial and confrontational management style.
