Beresford Estate

We stayed here for two nights after our wedding in the Grand Suites and overall, nice accommodation, however, could also be improved.

We stayed in Suite 5 and when we got back from our wedding photos at approx 9.30pm we were locked out of our accommodation. The gate at the front of the room wouldn’t open with the key. It would turn but not unlatch leaving us locked out in a suite and wedding dress and I had to walk through the bush area at the back, jump a high fence and open the gate from the inside. If you’re not reasonably fit you would be locked out.

Another issue is the rooms have amazing electric blockout blinds which are beautiful, however, the only window that doesn’t is the one that lets light straight in through the living room into the bedroom and because the bedroom is a glass door you will get woken early with the bright light. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t put blinds on that last window when every other window is done.

Next, they had a good bbq available but it’s coal heated which is fine as I can cook with coal, however, they hadn’t restocked the coal and there was only the tiniest amount left and not even to cook a couple pieces of meat on. This should be getting checked before each guest checks in. It also doesn’t have a hotplate so you can’t cook eggs or pancakes or anything that will fall through the grills. A simple Webber would have been cheaper and more effective.

Again, a small thing but there was no salt in the salt shaker - a simple house keeping check would have this covered in accommodation of this price. Cleanliness could have been better as well with dusty bin lids in the bathroom and despite being undercover the outdoor lounges filthy and we didn’t want to even sit on them. They should be wiped over after each guest.

There isn’t any information about the facilities in the room (which there are some great ones). I.e. There was a heater which looked great but we couldn’t see a remote for it and no instructions anywhere on how to use it.

Overall, we hope some of these issues can be improved because it is a beautiful place to stay and we’d love to come back one day but it’s hard to justify the price with these above issues.

I cannot recommend Beresford Estate highly enough. We recently celebrated my husband’s birthday by staying at Beresford Estate for a much needed getaway. We began by having lunch at the Vale Brewing Restaurant - incredible! We then stayed in one of the luxury suites and the luxury far surpassed any of my imaginings. We have also stayed in the villas and they are lovely as well. The staff are amazing at Beresford but in particular I want to thank Samantha for her attentiveness and kindness.

We absolutely loved our stay in the new Reserve Suites. The suite was comfortable and had everything we needed. The view from our room was beautiful. A few house keeping issues but overall we very much enjoyed the experience. Thank you Alisa you were the best host and we look forward to returning soon.

We stayed in the new Grand Reserve Suites at Beresford Estate and they well and truly exceeded our expectations! The rooms have been built to perfection, high quality furnishings and finishes throughout, every small detail has been considered from the cosy fireplace, the heaters throughout the whole suit, comfortable couch, breathtaking views, the plunge pool, the large bathtub, floor to ceiling mirrors and glass, and all the amenities that you could need.we especially loved how close by the vale tap house was for a delicious lunch, and the chocolate and shiraz tasting that we did in the tasting room.a very peaceful, private, and luxury stay - we hope to be back!

Cannot recommend Beresford Estate enough. The perfect getaway amongst the vineyard in exceptionally appointed accommodation. The accommodation’s decor is beautiful with Italian furniture and luxury inclusions from the Cloud 9 hairdryer & straightener, Breville Coffee Machine to the clothes steamer. The bed feels like sleeping on clouds and the view - wow!
This is all made so much better by the inspirational menu created by Chef John and the fantastic staff, all of which have been so welcoming. Special mention goes to Sam, Zak, Faye and Anna though - nothing was ever a hassle and they went over and above to ensure we had the best experience at all times.
Simply thank you - I don’t want to leave and am already planning my next stay!

I was extremely impressed with the accomodation at Beresford Estate and the entire surrounding property was exceptional. The Tasting Pavilion was delightful even though I’m not really a drinker. The total experience was outstanding and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something extravagant to share with that special someone. The staff were amazing and the amenities included in the suites were impressive.

Location and room itself was stunning. Service was really friendly and helpful despite some out of their control issues. Room at reserve suite was very spacious, but could've been cleaner. More information could've been provided regarding check in as well.

This beautifully appointed accommodation has gorgeous decor and luxury inclusions from the Cloud 9 hairdryer & straightener, quality toiletries, Breville Coffee machine and super comfy bed! From the moment we arrived Chloe and the staff made us feel most welcome and were constantly checking we had all we needed.
The tasting experience was amazing with all of us being able to try something different from beers to wine to gins.
Highly recommend staying at this beautiful property, we will definitely be back!

The Grand Suite was more than we expected
Italian furniture throughout, spacious, clean, very modern, extremely comfortable, many extras included.
Complete experience, delicious food at Tap House, educational tastings in The Tasting room by Caitlin. Sam, Faye, Zac and staff make you feel very welcome, we will return. Highly recommend that you stay too.

Great views, wines and customer service at Beresford. I came here for a birthday celebration a few months ago and I had a great experience. Pizza was divine.

My uncle actually lived in this house 25 odd years ago. It was a run down old thing then. It's absolutely transformed now and gorgeous. You can't go wrong with the landscape. Staff are friendly and helpful. I didn't stay for food so can't comment.
