Benny's American Burger reviews
38 Absolutely huge and delicious loaded burgers and fries.
Will be back, best feed I've had in the city in so long
Burgers were good size not greasy. Chips hot and fresh. Wings hot and tasty as. Mac and cheese balls were a little on the colder side but still delicious. Very small interior with only 3 tables but still a nice place
You don't specify the spiciness of the food. It is normal for you, but not for the rest of the people. You should check and fix the orders, refund the money and not delay people.
Got a standard burger and a beer - the burger was pretty tasty, better than some other local joints, but service was less than optimal.the location was basically empty besides our group but they managed to mix up two orders and completely forget about a third.bar staff didn't know how to pour a beer so they had to pour foam off five times before it was full enough to serve.the first time i've ever considered taking a half full beer and basically throw four dollars in the bin because i was too uncomfortable to watch them them keep going.atmosphere is pretty sad but standard for hindley street
I was just expecting the shakes to be amazing. However, everything was beyond expectations
Buffalo chicken burger is amazing. A little messy but worth sacrificing a few napkins. The upstairs seating area is a nice little oasis that helps you forget you are on Hindley Street. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for lunch on the area.
The burgers here are the perfect size - not too big, not too small. And they're always cooked to perfection
Mate, that burger was bloody ripper. The meat was cooked to perfection and the milkshake was a top-notch sweet treat to end the meal
I come here every week for their brisket burger. It's the best burger I've ever had
Maybe I visited the wrong time or day? The food was heavily over seasoned, and I couldn't brave myself to finish the wings & the chips. I asked for the differences between the sauce, and the guy who took my order seemed annoyed. However, he switched with another girl, and she offered me to have a taste first. But sadly, the food was too salty for my taste, and the wings were too dry. I wouldn't come back there.
We had an okaye experience.the food looked really good, but had abit of a funky taste like they needed to change the frying oils. I think had it been clean oil it wouldve been great!
We did stand at the counter for about 5-10 mins waiting to be served, but we could see they were busy out the back cooking orders so not too fussed by that.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere though, it was quite a unique little dining place, not too busy & pretty easy to find:)
• Great food
• Great environment
• Awesome seating
• Great service
• Varieties of drinks
We enjoyed the Carolina BBQ Burger & The Iron Lotus Burger meal deal with $1 Coca-Cola add on. Did not wait a long time like some of the reviews mentioned. Was interested in the Bulldog menu items but no photos provided on menu. Would be helpful to add a photo of what it is.
Ordered the regular chicken tenders as well as the Nashville tenders for a quick bite. Tenders were very soft and succulent; the regular ones had a subtle spice seasoning which was tasty, and the Nashville ones were covered in a hot chili sauce, pretty good but a little too spicy for me to handle. Would recommend the Nashville only if you are really good with spicy food. Minimum order is two pieces but price is relative cheap.
Not too bad when it comes to American style burgers and Hot dogs. The place was empty but we still had to wait 20 odd mins for our food. More than likely to do with the amount of doordash orders they were putting through. The meals and thickshake were decent though.
I got the chilli beef burger. The texture was great! However the burger caused me to have food poisoning and kept me up all night
Came here for dinner while in town with my sister. Food and atmosphere was awesome! The portions were huge so I didn’t quite finish mine, but would definitely come back!
Fresh and tasty, cooked to order, a real experience in today's fast food world. Everything from start to finish was excellent. Clean and fresh, the diner is a place to relax and enjoy quality food "the way it used to be"
Was there this past Friday with a friend and we enjoyed it. The food was great, the service was great.
Got the Henny Chicken burger and it was probably one of the best burgers ive ever eaten. Everything was fresh, it was a proper piece of chicken not just a thin patty, and a very generous amount of sauce. Would give 5 stars but the chips werent fantastic, they tasted alright but were clearly a bit old and had gone cold by the time we were served them. Apart from that, great place to grab a meal:)
